I would address this, but I don't want there to be hard feelings.
There can never be hard feelings, I just dont like people getting chances to succeed at life called slaves.(And the people that say athletes dont get free stuff is a liar, all my meals at a local resteraunt were "comped")
This could very well be the greatest thing I've ever seen in my life. An ultra-exclusive Rowdy Roddy Piper G.I. Joe action figure to commemorate his appearance at JoeCon 2007. And seeing as that I'm a G.I. Joe fanatic and that Rowdy Roddy Piper is my all time favorite wrestler, I must have one of these. Unfortunately, only 1000 were made. Anyone wanna lend me 500 bucks so I can buy one?
The Ever Growing Trickster and Pied Piper KO List!
U Ganthet, Labcoat Beast, Cap and Bucky
Not removing this until we get Clock King and The Rose-01/23/11
Come on, NECA-Marvel Horror Theme Set 2011!
The question of collegiate athletics is a very peripheral one for me. I'm mainly amazed at how much money ends up being involved -- never having been a real sports fan and not getting caught up in the excitement of it. What I'd worry about would be the athletes for whom the sport becomes a sort of defacto job at school, and whether or not they're getting more than an education strictly on paper.
That so many of the payments are indirect, and that's not even counting the things slipped in through loopholes, it seems to me that perhaps the main problem with not having them be officially paid is that there's such a premium attached to their "amateur" status that investigations and allegations can cause disruptions. It almost certainly causes even more money to change hands with respect to some of the top prospects than we see in the millions involved in the programs themselves.
Happy Birthday to my Older Brother TheAvengerThor. A better big brother could not be asked for.
Happy belated birthday!

It sounds as if everything's been at least moved into the new place, so unpacking will hopefully be much more relaxed than the move was.
Yeah, much more relaxed now. Thank heavens! heh heh Tomorrow we go exploring a bit.

If they opt not to lynch, they will have a higher survival rate with only killing 1 person instead of a potential of losing half or even more during the night phase.
I know that goes against the spirit of the game, but there could be some cut-throat players.
Yeah, but the first person to send in an action is guaranteed to survive the night. And if two people are cutthroat playing, they can very easily force someone to vote for themselves then kingmake them and silence them. I expect a lot of fun at the very beginning with lots of people dying N1.

Last bit first: Sorry, no.
I only know Roddy from THEY LIVE and a couple character appearances on shows over the years. The wrestling bits are just something I'm distantly aware of.
G.I. Joe to me was 12 inches tall, started out in the military and then became more interesting via things like a space capsule and other "Adventure Team" elements. However, that was just after the point when I had moved past those toys, but as my brother is 5 years younger we still had more of them coming into the house.
The whole "Real American Hero"/"Go, Joes!" era with the tiny guys and cartoons, though, is pretty alien to me.

Were I a millionaire, I would ; I don't care one bit about G.I. Joe or Roddy's wrestling, but he was great in "They Live", and for this alone he gets all my respect.
On an unrelated note, the Paris Saint-Germain football club is still the leader of the French football league, it's sweet.
Still off-topic, I'm going to watch "Good Bye, Lenin !" tomorrow night, a bittersweet movie will be perfect these days.

I just watched Double Indemnity. It is a great film noir movie!
I also watched a British version of Bram Stoker's Dracula with David Suchet as Van Helsing.
