I predict Loki is gonna be the new meta, along with Supes/Prof. X for a while. That Loki's wicked.

He's pretty solid. I just got one, now I think I like Odin more. Although he has a lot of the same problems as the old one. If he takes one solid hit then he never has move and attack powers so he can't catch Ind./HSS pieces, of which you know, a few are kind of popular Also that blank 19D is risky.
Why? At 600 he's tough, at 300 he isn't bad though.

I'm not really sold on Loki either, but I plan on givng him a shot. The lack of move and attack concerns me.

When I referred to "double reducer" I mean having invuln on a mystic, meaning more mystic damage as you have to hit her more before she dies.

I'm loving the new Odin...Yea he only has running shot on his first 3 clix, but its pretty rare that a fig keeps move and attack the entire dial no matter what. He is a one man army at that point value, personally I'd add maybe a 35 pt gauntlet, minus the mind gem, toss on the new Hydra Soldier for 15 points for some hydra TA goodness.

This new Odin has multiple ways to heal if given the soul gem, combined with his free action odinsleep power, which is amazing. Between impervious and landing on odinsleep, with 0 tokens he could take a hit on the chin for 4 straight damage on an opponent's turn after clearing and heal back to his first click. That is just nuts. Lack of move and attack late dial doesnt bother me much with huge range double shot for ranged attackers and pulse wave up close. The fact that he has move and attack on his first clix and multiple ways between Odinsleep and Soul gem (if played with IG) to heal back up. I see this Odin being an awesome gauntlet wielding contender once the AVM set comes out next week.

Destroyer is on the top of my list of wants from that set as well. Similar to Odin, only has that front-loaded move and attack, but totally solid values his entire dial with alternating psychic blast and flurry and tons of imperv / invuln. At the 250 pt spot those two are going to dominate as one - man - armies, even against the colossals.

I see him in the Units, but when did Odin get previewed?

Cyborg Superman - 140

Roulette - 35

Infinity Gauntlet on Cyborg Superman - 40

Cyborg can use impervious, shape change, and hopefully super senses. Gets +1 defence from starks power and then stark can perplex his def to a 20. and if he is on hindering it would be a 21.

Roulette is there to make sure they do not hit cyborg, and matter eater can break down barriers and copy superman enemy to give cyborg outwit.

late game you can AE stark to the iron man of ur choice. Either a running shot outwitting psychic blaster or the one that can shoot twice in a turn....

of course it is still vulnerable to pulse wave

my initial impression:

I think Odin is good but not quite as good as Loki (who can run support with gauntlet)

For the same points, Avengers Movie Mass market Hulk should net better returns for points spent than Odin.

Odin would be awesome if he had the flight symbol so he could maximize running shot on those first clicks, without flight, he's a pretty gimp mobile attacker at times. gauntlet helps

Still a very powerful dynamic fun chase!

Chase Loki is pretty phenomenal in theory and practice. Very solid on the field. deep dial with good synergy vs all the meta teams. becoming my favorite gauntlet wielder. Mystics/Power Cosmic is huge.

Yea the new Odin gets shut down by being tied up. Loki still has pulse wave if you tie him up, and he can phase away. I don't really like Odin at all. If he had pulse wave instead of EE on that first click it would be a different story.

Actually I can do Loki vs Loki vs Loki myself. But hopefully not for very long.
Yes, but it's also a Blank spot. Yes 19 D isn't bad but they could pop him for like 3 with PB, then hit him with a big HSS/Charge/SS hit for 5/6/7 and he's pretty much done for. I think Magog will be a bane of his. Also Ziran could pop him for 5 with Multi attack, knock him onto Odin Sleep and then 5 more and he's pretty much toast.

Not saying he's bad, he's not, he's awesome. Just saying it can be worrisome.

He's my style though. Move and attack to get in the fray, and solid stats throughout. I myself will have more fun with Odin then Loki. Which doesn't make him better I know.

Tony and Cyborg is a match made in Heaven for sure.

I think I (finally) have a WL Flash coming in on a trade.

What efficient/winning team have you people played with him?

I don't know if Cyborg needs the full Gauntlet though. He can already self-heal with objects (via a Trait that can't be Outwitted), he already has Indom, he can already carry, and your team has Prob. I just don't see it as adding much beyond what the team already has. (Cyborg getting Power Cosmic is nice, but after Question/Metron are Golden/gone, and a slew of Power Cosmic figs hitting the scene with GG, will we see a lot of front-loaded Outwitters)?

If you want more offense, try the new Doombot. Leadership, Shape Change, boost from Tony, and if positioned correctly another Outwit thanks to being a Wildcard (might even work better this way since Doombot can be carried by Cyborg Supes and MEL can't).

If you want PC and protection from Pulse Wave, Sargon's PC + Barrier combo helps. Mystics is always good... except when facing Cypher.

If you want PC + more Outwit, try Amadeus Cho.
