Man, I've got an article due on Monday and I've got the latest patch downloaded and ready to go. My sense of responsibility is going to be sorely tested by the knowledge that Loki's just sitting there, waiting to be used.

I'm needing to find some 60s to help me tackle Loki at the end of the Asgard bit now. He is more than my Deadpool can handle... the fact they nerfed dodging like they did is probably a big part of that.

I think my thing is 56 ish. I will work on getting him to 60.

My cousin started the game a week ago, and he's got Torch as an initial character. I'm contemplating getting him Ghost Rider as a Christmas present - is there a ton of overlap in their power sets? In City of Heroes, he tended to go for oddball controllers or tanks, so if I don't go with Ghost Rider, I'm thinking maybe Hulk, Loki, or Switch. Any advice?

I'd probably go with Hulk since that's a big difference. Ghost Rider is pretty awesome, but if he prefers tanks Hulk is tankiest one there is.

Just don't get him a dodging hero! Because they all, frankly, suck right now.

Go Thor - or I guess Hulk, but Thor actually tanks a bit better - if that's his playstyle.

As for Torch vs. Ghost Rider, totally different playstyle. Human Torch is the ultimate glass cannon in the game. He flies in and blows things up but good. His starting damage is a level a lot of characters work to obtain.

Ghost Rider is a lot of fun to play, so far. He can do the expected motorcycle dashes and summon up Hellfire. His Vengeance techniques are based on his getting more powerful the lower his health. His chains...well, basically, he's a freakin' Cenobite. Seriously, between casting people into Hellfire and swamping them with chains - I've put more points than I should in his Level 2 chain power which mummy wraps opponents - he's a Cenobite. Maybe not very Christmas-y but I'm loving it.

Pym particles are entertaining. Behold... Kid Widow! (Other heroes included for scale.)

Finally got one! A Legendary item, that is. Oofda. That took a WHILE. (300 Odinmarks isn't easy)
