I'm going to point out that one of the reasons talking about moderator action is against the rules *ahem* is because invariably what's said is incorrect and moderators can't correct things without some level of confidentiality being broken.
I will say that moderators have access to a forum where they can see all reported posts. We also have fairly easy access to seeing who's been banned as all warnings/infractions go to a similar forum.
We also have access to deleted posts.
It all adds up to giving a perspective on where the infractions/warnings/bannings are going that makes for broader perspective of what's going on.
While I completely agree with the freedom to post where you want I'd rather some just not post where they're clearly *ahem* not welcome.
I'm not hating on you for doing your job as a mod eMouse, I'm hating on you for doing it a little too well, no matter your reasonings. It all felt a little too personal.
If you're in this thread to make sure it doesn't get out of hand or all cray-cray then by all means, stick around ( it's your position's responsibility after all) . But I'm going to have to ask you not to post anymore here in this thread. I know where people with my kind of reputation and attitude are "allowed" to post, I ask that you do the same.

Also, auto-bans are for 30 days.
I dunno. Someone gets a warning for a sarcastic post in a sarcastic thread, it kind of leads to a feeling of oppression and "we don't want you around here anymore."

Kinda reads like a "free fire zone". I'd say as long as it doesn't turn into 4chan /b/, it should be fine.
And while some of the TLC guys got a little ###holish, it did seem there was a witchhunt on, and some posters who had nothing to do with that crap got hassled.
And truth be told, if there's a place that needs a good trollin' it's GD.
I still scoff at vegan chorizo. Not that I really like to see what goes into "real" chorizo, or most other ground meats, but still, it has dead animal in it.
Vegan Chorizo. pffft. that is like Magneto being a good guy or teaming up with the X-Men or something.
