So I bought an HP Envy two weeks ago. It's somewhat loud. It has this constant "ehhhhhhhhhhhhh" fan noise. It's not loud enough to hear a few feet away but it's noticeable. Considering taking the PC back. Any thoughts?

Use your car. That'd be a tough walk carrying a computer.
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.

I have never had a lot of luck with HP after they bought Compaq.
At the hospital we have swapped out all but 29 of the 135 HP that were there when I started 16 months ago. We have the Dells to replace them, but not the time so far.
Personally I would buy in this order: Toshiba, Dell, Lenovo, Surface then HP.
If it is only for web browsing, FB and email a Chromebook is the way to go. The downside is that it only runs apps, not actual programs.
I am posting this from my Chromebook, but I have a Dell Lattitude as well that I use for heavy computing stuff. My wife has a Toshiba Satellite.

I have an HP laptop that I love and another previous HP desktop that lasted maybe seven years? Generally I am happy with them. This one just wheezes. Julie thinks I am being too picky. But the constant whirl is annoying.
I need a desktop to run Paint Shop Pro that I design maps with and I need a decent amount of RAM to convert the large psp images into jpegs to print.
Has anyone been watching Man Seeking Woman on FXX? I think it's pretty good, though granted for television comedy I usually think if I get at least one laugh out of each episode it's pretty good :-/

The only comedy we watch is New Girl, and it is only average. Pretty much gave up on sitcoms a long time ago.
The best half hour of comedy on TV is The Soup on E! and it just makes fun of other TV shows.
And now that I think about it for a few minutes, Ridiculousness is pretty funny as well.

Surface? Is that a PC manufacturer, or are you talking about MS Surface?
