Phoenix and Austin have to be out, if you hate warm weather (which is like hating puppies, just for the record). Phoenix is literally in the middle of a desert. I think all three sound amazing, but Denver really is your only option.

If I had to make a vaguely educated guess, Austin probably has the best nightclub life of the three. But it's probably fine in all big cities.

So there was a guy complaining in a thread that he got 3 sketch Sandmen and no regulars. So I, having 3 regulars at the time offered to swap one out. Knowing the sketches usually go for more, when he PMed me I offered extra stuff to him. He said it wasn't needed and wanted to go through with the trade.

Took him a while to send it out but, whatever, I'm just doing a quick trade helping each other out.

He includes a bunch of extra in the box (I'm guessing to apologize for the wait) when he ships. So here it is the weekend and no box. I'm doing stuff and I walk by the couch to find one of those "sorry we missed you" cards from the post office (got lost in a pile of mail on Wednesday).

Turns out the guy used signature confirmation. So now I got an extra trip to the post office... on a Saturday. Horray!

I get the box and there's bubble wrap on the bottom and crumpled paper bag on the top. In the middle were a bunch of loosely stacked figs that spent the trip rubbing and bouncng off each other, breaking two of them. Of course one of the broken pieces was the sketch Sandman that was the entire reason for the trade.

Ugh.

That is a bummer. If it is any consolation earlier today I pulled a sketch Hydro man.
