I have playtested this team since the moment it was released. Here is what i found to be most successful.

I found i was never using parasites effect. With 3 drop having evasion and 4 drop using gift wrap i found blade hung around till then anyways.

why do you run 10 4 drops?

Two reasons.

1)They substitute out for eachother depending on the turn. Sometimes you need to play sensational more then once followed by bagman to assure your survival. The hulk when you want to attack.
2) Indebted requires you to discard spiderman to search for other chars. Sure you could use mobilize i suppose, but thats true for any team.

The definite key behind this team is Darkhawk, and to be perfectly honest i'm very disappointed a lot of you haven't realized that yet. Stripping flight away from critical characters, forcing them to attack bagman or a weaker drop is just TOOO good. Not to mention his flight, range and evasion.

Yes, you should be using Mobilize

No, Darkhawk has been the back-up 3-drop for SIlver all along.

After playtesting i found i rarely ever used matties effect. Daredevils i would use often but matte never. The only reason you would use her effect is against some sort of rush strategy and if you are facing that, then giftwrap is going to do the work of her anyways.

Darkhawk on the other hand i found to be very useful. I would usually be evading mattie on 3 or 4 and now i'm evading darkhawk instead, but not before paying his attack to strip flight away.

Basically, you will use darkhawk more then you use mattie. Mattie being once per turn i think hurts her the most.

(i suppose though if you are not using bagman then you probably aren't going to benefiit from him as much)

i feel like a briken record because i keep repeating myself, but i'm new to VS and my local shop owner has help me build a spider-man clone deck. I cant post a thread yet because i'm still new on the forums so i'm asking kinda of an off topic question.

1st round darkside/checkmate win
2nd round underworld/ secret society win
3rd round avengers reservist win
4th round skrulls lost
5th round avengers reservist win

semi finals avengers reservist lost 1st match won 2nd and third
finals kree/villians united lost first won 2nd and third match

In the final my opponent played press wrong (i thought he was doing it correctly) he thought it lasted the turn and would press out multiple non press characters after the first couple of recruits. (at least i still beat him and now I know how press really works)

Goop, what do you do against equipment-heavy decks? Why no Level 12's or Zinco's? You have so much targetting. Cloak of Nabu and BPRD Signal Device would cause major trouble for your deck.

Yeah I forgot about Bagman but I've been thinking about him of late because I don't use Parasitic at all in my jank meta. I'll definitely have to test Darkhawk + Bagman.

SF/HoG team-ups are pretty common.

my question is this;
why don't you guys team-up SF? there's a lot of possibilitys and the topic does say MODERN Spiderfriends, yet I've been seeing silver age spidy discussed.
