hehe, exactly, don't go thinking I've grown soft or anything, I was just basing my answer on the options presented 8^D I'll take a Orc over a Fiend Megacyber or Cyber Dragon anyday, extra DDV material!
brrr......Is it cold in here or what? Someone turn on the heater.
Sorry to be MIA for so long folks. Vacation time. Please excuse the new suit *looks at avatar* Im just trying it out.
But since Im in here, I wanted to bring up a topic. If any of you are members of multiple sites, like I am, you may have noticed that there seems to be a sudden spurt of interest in the Infernal Incinerator.
As many unusual cards tend to be set aside and forgotten let me just remind everyone about it:
Fiend/ FIRE/ 6* 2800/ 1800
Text
This card can only be Normal Summoned or Set by discarding all card(s) in your hand to the Graveyard except this card, as well as Tributing 1 card with ATK 2000 or higher from your side of the field. Increase the ATK of this monster by 200 points for each monster on your opponent's side of the field. Decrease the ATK of this card by 500 points for each monster on your side of the field, except this card.
Now, I have seen some people asking on the best way to use this freakish firey cockroach, and most of the ideas center around either a "no hand/topdecking" strategy or simply using dump and revive methods to Special Summon it to the field.
Nothing wrong with that. Fiends obviously have a bounty of monsters with either base ATKs of 2000+ or effects that easily provide that necessary power.
Topdecking has its own risks, but again....Fiends have all sorts of remedies for what ails you (Theban Nightmare, Flash Assailant, Nuvia the Wicked, Chaos Necromancer, Lava Golem, ect)
But I just feel that there is something missing that really makes this monster card a force to be reckoned with. Now, I have my own ideas, of course. But Im curious as to how the Fiend thread subscribers here would approach it. Anyone have an idea?
His effect makes him rather hard to summon normaly. So I'd suggest to use Reasoning or Monster Gate because of this:"This card can be Special Summoned (even from your Deck, with a card like “Monster Gate”). You do not have to discard your hand when you Special Summon this card.". By using him in a fiend Monster Gate/Reasoning deck you can get around the effect, and have a the strongest 6* monster yet ready and grinning evily. Able to send the opposition running for the bomb shelter. with just a glance of his firey eyes
(thanks for the clarification Hlaf I wasn't sure if the need to tribute a 2000 attack monster stayed. and Silly I forgot about the fact of his attack boost/drop part stays.
p.s. since I do run a few fiend decks (necrofear dimension, necromancer and archfiend to name some.) I figure it's time to come out of the shadows and see about joining this community that shares simmiler thoughts. :ermm: If that's fine by ya'll :p
That's only the cost effect and everything...you'd still have to have a completely empty field for him to stay at 2800 ATK. Opponent will probably have about 2 mons usually...
I can't believe you guys are still going strong myself. You're the only one of my subscribed threads that are still here. The closest is one that lasted until August/September. Jeez.
I wonder how many of you remember me?
Anyways, I'm back because my friend has been proposing starting a play team, but I need to catch up on all I missed. To the deck lists!
This is for all of u guys that said Dark World was just a fad. The first regional of the year was held this past weekend in anaheim by scge. In it there were atleast 15 people, including myself playing DW. From what I saw 2 people made top 10. The most common phrase all day long was "damn I hate those Dark World decks"!
I expect more people to show up with DW in Feb.
Dark Realm will, most likely, follow the same trail as Gravekeeper's....they'll win and win and win some more then...die out little by little....with only some of them teched until more support comes....
That sounds like it may be right. But I don't think they'll ever recieve any other support. I also think they are better than grave keepers, just cus they are fiends :). Time will tell though.

They also manage to slip past Necrovalley...the key card of Gravekeeper's...
While I do agree that the Dark World decks are due increase in popularity and then drop, The Dark World decks work differently that Gravekeeper's and Archfiends.
Those decks need a field card to work, which is the biggest turn-off to most people.
A Dark World Deck will get support when more and more COMBOS become available.
Dark World Decks make activating 3 of the "possible" best cards in the game MUCH easier. Forced Requisition is one of the BEST Hand control cards in the game, because with it, you can control your opponent's hand by either attacking their hand or using up yours. "Appropriate" is a constant Pot of Greed. "Card of Safe Return" is quite possibly one of the cards that were made their strongest with the release of the Dark World cards.
The biggest challenge was to activate these card. Forced Requisition needs a discard by effect, not cost and the last thing to happen. Appropriate needs your opponent to draw, and while Card Of Safe Return is a continuous spell card and doesn't need a trigger like Forced Requisition and Appropriate, unless you have more revival than Premature Burial and Call of The Haunted in your deck, it's useless to deck it.
Just remember that Dark World Decks are combo friendly decks.
I need to get back on my feet and start dueling again. I'm all bandaged up in some hospital room.
