Holy Macaroni that's a lot to digest. Thanks for the link.
Can you clarify the B/C/F thing for me, though. Does B/C/F NEED to have a Close Combat Action to activate it, or can it just be used whenever a Close Combat Action is used?

BLADES/CLAWS/FANGS (OPTIONAL): When this character is given a close combat action, roll one d6 after making a successful attack roll. The result replaces this character’s damage value when resolving the attack. If the target was blocking terrain, a wall, or an object, it is destroyed on a result of 3–6.
Its ANYTIME a close combat action is given.
[YES, this means BCF works with EW.]

There's that "give" word again. I just don't like it. Perhaps I'm too selfish.
I am up for a "bring your Gencon team" (or the team you would use if you were going) game sometime this weekend if anyone else is up for it??
I'm down for a couple games. I'll have to borrow some figs. Build some teams you want to play your GenCon team against and I'll run them against you. I'll PM you a Skrull Ms. Marvel team so you can get some experience against that too.
Is the Fortitude needed on Darkside? He can shoot through your figures, so you will always have blockers in front of him. The extra 25pts can be used to add more "in the way" figs. Some Moloids, Stealth pogs, or other cheap Stealth figs, like Bucky.

25 Skrull Infiltrator
43 Skrull General

Dude! Super-Skrull Avengers, come on.... That is if you have one yet. But I can see your method of not going to Skrull Ms. Marvel. Trying to use other Skrulls.
Yellowjacket has a real nice first click, but 6 clicks of health concerns me alot. That is a potential one shot on a 100pt figure.
How about this:
Super-Skrull: Avengers
Dum Dum Dugan
Skrull General
Skrull Warrior
Skrull Infiltrator
299pts
And I know we are trying to use the new figs, but don't overlook Warskrull or Super Skrull: The Original.

Reason: Looked at Skrull team again.

I believe this is incorrect. An action can only be given to activate one thing. In this case the Close Combat Action is specifically given to activate BCF. This would not active other powers that require a close combat action to be given.
Since EW requires its own close combat action to activate it, the powers cannot be used at the same time.
Now, this is barring any wacky changes since I was last a judge. Why don't we have our resident Level 3 Envoy make an official statement.

...Quiet Storm...
**crickets chirping**
...Umm Jeff are you there???
Not only are you a Buccaneers fan but you're wrong here, too. BCF + EW = Gamora is awesome.
Yeah it runs through. It's why you can use SS with EW as well.
So if you have Gamora...punk your friend with her. She's Nasty (or Ms. Jackson if you're old school.)
Not quite. Flurry and EW are powers which require you to "give the figure a close combat action." BCF activates "when you give the figure a close combat action." So BCF can be used with either of the other two, but the Flurry and EW can't be used together.

The difference between "Posses/Have" and "Can use":
OK let me get this straight Norm... Ms. Marvel DOES NOT have to turn off Exfiltration to cancel Stealth? She can chose to have Stealth OFF and HSS ON?

Since she can only use it, but does not possess it, she can choose to use it or choose not to use it with each action, similar to wildcards.
What about figs that become a Gaint for a Portion of their dial? Examples:
GIANT MAN: Yellowjacket possesses the {giant} damage symbol and can use Charge.
GROWTH: The High Evolutionary has the Giant damage symbol.
EMBIGGEN: The Joker has the {Giant} damage symbol
Quote
Giant Man says he possesses the Giant symbol and Growth/Embiggen says that the have/has the Giant symbol. Has/have is equivilent to possessing it so they would have to cancel the powers in order to have them not be in effect.Yellowjacket has the Giant symbol and can use Charge he can:
a) Be a giant and use Charge
b) Be a giant and not use Charge
c) Cancel the power, not be a giant and not use Charge
There is no scenario in which he can not be a giant but still use Charge. (Barring other factors like Earthbound)
Hope you all learned something...I know I did!

This is a stupid rule.
Gian man has a power. It's called "Giant man". Either he uses that power, or he does not.
It would be quite stupid for him to be able to turn off "half" a power. And he cant.
But Ms Marvel can?? Doesnt make sense, Her power is not "stealth" or "hss". It's Exfiltration. Either she uses that power, or she doesnt.

I'm with you on this!
EXFILTRATION: Ms Marvel can use Hypersonic Speed, Stealth and Plasticity.
It only takes one Outwit to shut down Exfiltration, not three to get all of the powers. By their definition, I could technically Outwit her HSS and leave her with Stealth and Plasticity.

Yeah I don't have Warskrull and I don't have Super Skrull Avengers.
As for the Use vs Has or whatever, I am now confused...
I thought they changed it so Powers given by white powers can be used for Pre-reqs for feats....
SO can Mr. Fantastic(new) use brilliant tact?
are there any figs whose white powers actually give them the power instead of just letting them use it?
I don't want to play a game of chess where dumb luck or money decides whether or not I get to use a rook... Collectibility is a necessary evil of Heroclix, not a boon.

You can borrow either as I have both, but only at LSOM!
1) Mr F CAN use Brillant Tac
2) Basically the only figs that get screwed for Feats are the ones that need a Symbol(Giant,Avengers TA, Duo, etc.) to use a feat.
Example: Harbinger CAN use Sidestep but Klarion cannot.
CROSSTIME HERALDS: Harbinger has the Duo attack symbol
KLARION AND TEEKL: Klarion can use the Duo Attack ability, but do not modify Klarion's damage by -1 for the second attack.
