Right - we have both the original Swordsman and his "alternate world counterpart" in Clix. Of course, the alternate world version was never on any team in 616-universe besides the Avengers but it could be debated he was the one used for the Unliving depending on when Immortus yanked the guy from to shake up folks.

R Icons Superman
R Icons Batman
R CJ WW
R JL Aquaman
R JL Green Lantern
R JL Flash
U CJ Atom
R CJ Green Arrow
R CJ Zatanna
E CJ Black Canary
Now, I know that's not how they progress in some cases, but those are the pieces I will use.
So, in the first games, and point totals will go 400 (because I hate 300) for the pre-season game, and the first 3, then 500 for the next 3, then 600 for the last 2.
So, my first pre-season game, (which I said every manager would get 1 free attendence upgrade when I was thinking their would be this one, plus 1 per game for a total of 10 max)I might run this:
R Icons Superman 197 pts.
R Alpha Batman 50 pts.
R CJ Wonder Woman 71 pts.
U CJ Atom 50 pts.
R CJ Green Arrow 29 pts.
Total 397 pts.
Now, I was originally thinking 1 Attendence upgrade per game, as we will still have the other upgrade system as well. Yes, if you use the Attendence upgrade on a character, I was thinking his stats reset, but I like the idea of just not using his stats that game. So, in my game, let's say Supes get 4 SA's and 2 KO's and Diana gets 2 SA's and 1 KO. Atom get 5 AST, and Bats and GA get nothing. I would use my freebree on Supes (as I've already said this on wouldn't affect stats), getting him to the E level and closer to the Duo. Now, I would like to get Fortitude ofn him, but I'll wait to use his stats for that.
My second Attendence would be for Ollie to get to the E Level. Now, the BatB Duo is a E level Duo, so instead of having to waste another upgrade to get it, I think, Ollie has now unlocked his half.
If we did Attendence for everyone, and their stats didn't count toward feats, then how would the Atom get Brilliant Tact on him? He doesn't need the Attendence Upgrade, he needs to keep his stats.
So, I propose this: 2 Attendence Upgrades per game, (yes the pre-game will have three). If you Upgrade through Attendence, your stats don't count for that game. You can't use the Attendence Upgrade for the same person twice in a row, but you can Attendence, stat, Attendence.
Because I also propose cutting the stat requirement to UPGRADE only in half. 5 SA's, AST's and DFD's and 3 KO's to upgrade. It will be the same 10, 10, 10 and 5 to get a Feat however.
How does that sound?

Other than that, not sure why you're skipping the "lowest ranks" on the AE-type figures. I mean, I realize you'd rather start at "buffer figures" but with upgrading being rather remarkably fast and easy - maybe a bit too much? - I think a bit of balance is for folks to start at the lowest which, in this case, are the AE's.

True. But then that 5 upgrades still, and on people that should get them through stats.
AE Bruce is great to give DFD to those who take Mastermind Damage, but only IF no one Outwits it, and in this enviroment, I betting on everyone having an Outwitter. In the other Leagues, he's awesome sauce for getting the other Leaguer up. But here, they already start up, or don't take much to get them up. I can still play him anyway, if I want.
And Ralph is just a PC'er in Heroclix, like Zee. I kinda left him for a JLI player for one thing (same with J'onn, and he was on Mars II), and went with the original members and those who joined first. If it had been a pt. draft, or had there been more slots, I would have.
Speaking of which, do we want to do a mid-season draft? Or if you have a DC team, grab the newest stuff revealed in the 75th set. I'm sure if someone plays a Golden Age JSA, they might want some figure to come down the pipe. And Marvelites should be able to get another person as well.

I also thought it would be kinda fun to have both the Silver Age Teen Titans running alongside the Silver Age JLA in this League All we need is the Legion and we can re-enact the Crisis
I've been searching around, and apparently Garth was a regular guest star as a reserve member, along with Hawk and Dove. I don't recall that ...

I am home with the baby today and I don't want to hold things up.
Are there any instances of the Hulk's villain gallery teaming up? I would really like to run the U-Foes and The Leader but I have no idea on a theme basis for that.

There's the Intelligencia. The U-Foes weren't part of that (at least as far as I know), but it would give you a chance to run the Leader and a decent sized roster.
HCFL Teams: The All-New, All-Different X-Men and the Justice Society of America

The U-Foes are on the Hood's Syndicate (briefly).
The Leader, though, did manipulate and gather together a bunch of the Hulk's foes - we need Xeemnu (sp)! - on at least one occassion. Most of them (Xee, Rock and Redeemer, etc.) aren't clicked but you do have Abomination, U-Foes, Leader...
