That topic change gave me whiplash!

I don't know. He seems pretty good, but I can't help but feel that he costs too many points.

I didn't notice KS saying anything here, so make fun of me if I am late to the party, but on facebook he posted pics of his daughter post cast removal, and all seems well =]

WAY harder. Especially for someone of my size.

Here's a rundown of my mistakes:

1. I drank about 4 beers at the Field House, and followed it up with about 4-5 more at karaoke.

2. I made the mistake of not drinking enough water throughout the night. And by "enough," I mean ANY.

3. After rocking some faces in karaoke, I made the drunken mistake of accepting shots from said rocked faces. Shots and I (with the exception of tequila, for some reason) do NOT mix.

So yeah, was decommissioned Saturday and could not hold down food/liquid for a day and a half. Ugh.

Did you at least get any offers to be taken home by any of those rocked faces? lol, that might have been worth it. ...might.

I don't drink for medical reasons, not because I can't hold my booze like other people.

Isn't that par for the course in your average Ogre thread? Break-neck speeds and no rhyme or reason to our rambling?

No, you're not late to anything. But anyway, good for her. Now KS will have his hands full again keeping her out of trouble!!! Kids will be kids afterall!!!

It's definitely a dial I'm still soaking in. I'm still in much the same boat as you, believing he's too many points along with being too vulnerable. The Stone Gaze SP that's blocked by basing him also felt like a design flaw. The damage potential, especially against the right targets, is huge but I'm not expecting him to realize much of it and to instead be a plump 106 points of victory points for an opponent.

That said, I didn't want to rush to negative judgement, which is why I've yet to add him to my Ranking thread entry. The key to using him effectively will likely lie with how he plays with teammates, so I'll be trying to think of him in terms of others, especially Hydra and Hand allies.

Heh. The way you mentioned it had me thinking it was something strict, like this, but I didn't want to presume.

Such plans as I might have for WWE 2012 are looking as if I'll most likely just drop to a Friday pass. That'll give me plenty of time to hit the convention floor and get anything I'll be likely to buy. I want to bring some basic clix supplies, too, and see about using a little space in the gaming room.

The lack of panels I'd be wanting to attend (actual comics-related ones) that I'd be able to get into was what has really wrecked my approach to this convention the past two or three years. One needs a place to take a break from the con floor other than to just head out for a meal.

Anyway, if I do that -- hopefully cultivating some friendly clix games during those breaks -- and then finish up with the HCR gathering I think I may have a shot at the best time I've had there in years. The Wizard shows have been heading in a direction I'm not a fan of, and the Saturday crowds (along with how they were managed) made that day much more of a chore than a pleasure; there's no good reason for me to blow a Saturday that way.

That dial looks great. He should be fun. Though I have to admit I'm not real familiar with him.

I think I posted something briefly the day the cast came off. It's easy for things to get lost in these threads. My trouble is only just beginning.

He played a small role in Wolverine's book a few years back in the "Enemy Of The State" storyline a few years back. Let me see if I can find a link for you...

If there's no DHC next year I'll probably skip it altogether. Don't care about panels or autographs, and the prices were so marked up on merch this year that I'd be paying retail even if I haggled. No thanks.
