They all circled the man, pitchforks at the ready.

"Dammit I'm a doctor. I'm here to help you all, if you'd just give me a chance!"

"We're not into giving chances, 'Doctor' if that's even who you are," shouted a woman from the back. The group continued to close in on the man.

The man whispers to himself as he grabs a syringe from his bag, "May the Lord forgive me.". Pointing out to the crowd the man shouted desperately, "Stop this madness, please! Stop or I will be forced to protect myself."


The crowd rushes in and begins to pummel the man mercilessly. In the commotion, the man plunges his syringe and injects the contents into one of his assailants. When the crowd dispersed, two bodies laid lifeless.

Moments later, one of the dead bodies sits up rubbing his head, "I do not want to go through that again."

There was some unexpected things that came up. I'll open up in the morning, unless I get some time tonight.

The pair had been waiting at the man with the brimmed hats house.

The man in the brimmed hat smiled. “Just the two I was looking for.”

The pale man responded, “I could say the same thing.”

It was rare when two artisans of their caliber met each other. The two had cut through the town like adamantium through a steel beam. There was very little the two could do to each other at first glance, no opening to exploit, no weaknesses to take advantage of. No the two would be doing this dance all night. The pair’s every advance seemed to backfire against them. But the man couldn’t take advantage of the missteps. The man knew however, that he couldn’t keep up this pace, he had to make a move. Suddenly, the girl launched her sharpened drumstick at the man, impaling him. The pair walked over and as the girl bent over to retrieve her instrument, with his dying breath, he man in the brimmed hat, spun quickly and embedded the drumstick in her throat.

The pale man screamed, “MEG!!! NO!!” In his anguished pain, he ran away from the town, never to be seen again.

The man following behind stops at the camera, “We are doing everything we can. You can assure the public that we will not rest until this epidemic has been contained and eradicated.”

The reporter chimes in, “What about reports that it may already be too late.”

“You’ll have to forgive me, but we have work to do and can not comment on unfounded rumor. Thank you that is all.”

Was VDB the SK? Not a bad night. Not sure what to make of that last paragraph. Or Pax's death.

So does the needle stab at the end of pax's lynch read like a recruitment lynch-bomb to anyone else? Of course it could signify he was just the doctor, but that's a bit too heavy of a write up power copping isn't it? Too obvious?

Why SK and not cult Truff? You know something we don't know?

I have to say that copping Truff as mafia twice is pretty damning evidence. We explained the first one away as a misdirection. What are the chances of it happening like that again? That said, I'll wait to hear what other people think? I mean, if the cult is on the verge of overwhelming us, then we may need to keep the mafia around to NK them.

I am reading this as the SK taking out a mafia and being killed by his target when doing so. The part of the outbreak, on the other hand, could be a form of recruitment. When Pax died, didn't he inject someone? Could this mean that Pax passed on the recruiter power to another player when he was lynched? Must go back and read again to get a better idea...
