I found a Cortex (!!!) game that actually worked with my schedule (so many games are waaaay to early for me on the West Coast, or on Saturdays which is understandable but that's usually date day with the lady). Fingers crossed that they're actually looking for another player.

Also known as "crap IR repeatedly does that annoys his GM." If it's any consolation, 20% of the incidents are on purpose and another 20% are me wondering if I can sneak away to grab another beer.

As a player, there are basic sheets that can do all of your abilities. Depending on the game, this can be a bit complex. I found Star Wars: Age of Rebellion to be much simpler in general that D&D 5e. For D&D at least, there are also some advanced scriptings that I use to do some of my combat maneuvers that are very easy to program in once you've done it. And then one of our players is a programmer and thus does everything via advanced scriptings.

I've played a few pathfinder games and reiterate all of gfish's player specific advices. I have yet to play any games outside of my normal group but we haven't played in weeks so I've been getting the itch lately.

If he wasn't just smiling like it was a yearbook photo, it would have been okay. I hope you can just scratch the picture off.

Wish the champs would be more subtle like with the Black Adam sculpt where someone had to tell you "that's the champ" instead of all in your face like Stargirl, Harley and Mephisto.

Hmm... if anybody ever decides to get an HCRealms group going on Roll 20, I'd be interested. Haven't gamed much, just some forum PbP a long time ago, but I've been wanting to try for a while. And it looks like my wife is going to bee working nights again so I'd probably have the time.

I don't play either, but I have gotten into FFG's Thrones card game, which also does champion cards... now I'm laughing at the image of something similar happening on them.

I started watching Shanara, it's very... Teen. Plus the theif girl is annoying. Not digging watching the rest of the show if she is a main character.

It's an MTV show, so lots of emo. It could be worse. I remember hating the Sword of Shannara, so getting through a series that is basically an extended music video was okay by me.
