Any Mafia will claim to be town, so that is irrelevant. How things are done where you usually play, again, fairly irrelevant outside of understanding your intent. There is nothing in this post to pull you out of the suspicious as hell list, sorry.

4 people alive have power claimed so I trust them much more than I do those who have not. Also, I have a big issue with people claiming others are townish when there is no objective evidence of same.

I have no issues with this tactic either, but it does zero towards pointing to someone being town. At best it can be used as a "hey don't use chattiness against me cause of this" argument.

I know I'm not lying, can't speak for Adam. I suppose it's possible that multiple people targeted Darkstone... and I was MD'd onto one of them... random but I dunno. I know my word at this point doesn't mean all that much given both of my night's results, but both would be pretty bad lies to make if I wasn't town.

Yes, that's exactly what it is. You suggested that you were using my chattiness against me, I am saying that's fundamnetally not something you should view as alignment-indicative.
I am asking you to identify specific scummy actions of mine so that we can work toward better understanding each other in this game right now. I am not above suspicion, for sure, but if you are going to suspect me then I would like for it to be substantiated.

It is fair of you to require me to validate that I am not scum, but in a circumstance where you labeled me "scummy as hell" I also think it is fair for you to validate that read. So far I am just there because you don't know me. I am all for skepticism, but I also am strongly in favor of substantiating our reads and claims.

He did, didn't he? Pretty much in the section you quoted... and then in another post. We know nothing about you, and you've done really nothing but talk a lot while not saying all that much. Now you're refusing to do anything while under pressure.

I will offer my opinions on the happenings in this thread once I have caught up with my reading. I would prefer to try and earn some town reads by playing my way first. But I also would like to adapt my play to the particulars of this community, so if there are any questions you guys have for me that might help you read me, I'd be happy to give answers.

First I need to go for my nightly jog though. I'll be back in an hour or so.
