Spectre is a tough cookie, but let's see if I can crack him.
First I'll roll for Tarot's power. 6. Defend and PC. While PC is always nice, having her well back and a short PC range makes it tough.
So Black Cat moves to M11. Start with that.
Ajax comes in. Rescue Perplexes his AV to 12, and Rose Perpelxes his Damage to 4.
Leash TKs him to K16
He will choose for his Attack Special to get Flurry and +1AV
He teleports to G11 and Flurries on Spectre. AV11 +2 on DV19. Gets 5. Uses his PC to make it 6. Spectre makes it 10. SS is 6.
Second attack is 8. SS is 5. But Ajax has Precision Strike, so that gets through for 4 to Spectre. His KC TA doesn't kick in because it's a close attack. Ajax takes 1 for Mystics.
It wasn't the one turn kill I was hoping for but Spectre with 4 damage is still way more manageable.
Tarot to heal Rose. AV9 on DV16. Gets 3. Her own PC makes it 5. Cat makes it 3.
Red Star uses his Arms to give himself +2 Movement, Charges to K15 on Hoss, AV9 on DV16. Gets 9. Going to KO Hoss.
WOS Scarlet Spider in now. Moves to K14 to block Hoss.
Here's a question about our penalties. I have two PCers in Black Cat and Ajax. But Tarot can potentially also have PC, depending on a random roll. Does she break the rule? Does she only break the rule on those turns when she rolls PC?

We've gone so long in the game without a penalty, I'm not sure we should worry about them now. If we were, then absolutely that would be a penalty.
Johnny rolls: 6. That's great. He sides to G6, taking up outwit and using it on Ajax's imperv. Then he attacks. Needs 7, rolls 9. Ajax makes it 12. Ouch. Johnny's damage is 4 with his bonus plus 1 for critical hit. 5 to him.
Let's see if I can finish him. Catapult launches the Hawks to F10.
They need 5 to ko him, rolls 8. Done. They side to G11 to block. That's all for free. Now they'll charge to L16 and quake. Rolls 8. Cat makes it 8 again. Tarot makes it 7. Still good. SS is 2 for Scarlet, he takes 2 and kb to I13. Cat takes 2, kb to O16. No doubt the Hawks will pay for that but they're done a notable job, I'm cool with that.
Ugh, correction. Hawks' quake would effect RS & Cat. RS has invulnerable, he's ok. I've been fortunate this turn, I'll leave it as is.
Despite those good rolls, I need pc. I'll bring in Red Tornado, Ma Hunkle. DD sends her to J5. She tries to heal Spectre. Needs 7, rolls 8. Heal is 4.
Drop Bear 1 ports to G11 and charges to J13 attacking RS. Needs 7, rolls 7.
BCF is 4, 2 to him.
Flash hss to K13, making his damage 3, attacking SS. Needs 8, rolls 5. Spectre makes it 8. SS is 4. A 9 kos him, rolls 11. Ouch. Flash ends in K14 to block. Can he sidestep away? 2.
I'll have Ma side to H6, defending Johnny if need be. She'll get automatic regen.

Flash may have HSS and Flurry, but unless the power specifically says so, they don't work together. They just give him an either/or option. He doesn't get the second attack on Spider for the KO
Not that saving Scarlet Spider for a turn is going to do much for me, but I'll take it. Or maybe I can do something with him...
Tarot's roll this turn is a 10. Leap/Climb and Perplex
Black-Cat is on Outwit. SHe'll use it on the Hawks' Invulnerable.
Ego-Prime in for me. I'll take the Cheap one. Rose, Rescue and Tarot Perplex his AV to 12
He teleports to M/N16/17, attacks the Hawks, needs a 6. Gets 5. And for all the PC I had last turn, I don't have any now.
Scarlet Spider's on his last click. He will push to I10
Replace him with the Chase Starfox.
Starfox will Flurry on Spectre, AV12 on DV18. Gets 4. Second attack is 5. Oh for crying out loud. I guess I should have Perplexed his AV, but I was hoping that with two attacks and a 12AV I'd be able to land one without help. Silly me.
The one good thing is there was a 4 in that second roll, means Tarot, Rose, and Black Cat can all heal 1. Though that's actually a mixed blessing on Tarot, since it heals her off her Support. I'll move her in place to get it back.
Red Star Perplexes his DV +2. Starfox does the same to his own

"You look like quite an impressive cosmic being," Starfox told the Spectre. "But I've made something of a career of fighting impressive cosmic beings, so honestly, I don't see why you should be any different."
"I assure you," the Spectre said, evading his blows. "I am nothing like any of the beings you have ever fought."
"I will crush you!" Ego-Prime said, attacking the Hawks.
"Look Shayera, a giant," Hawkman said. "We haven't fought one of those since, what? Wednesday?"
"No," Hawkgirl corrected him as they both flew rings around Ego. "Wednesday was the mystical death cult. The giant was Tuesday."
Spectre on Starfox. He can use Starfox's av with the envy thing so needs 8, rolls 6. PCs it to 10. 3 to Foxy.
I can't believe the Hawks are still here. They really impress me. They attack Ego. Needs 6, rolls 7. Tarot can pc that: 6. 2 to Ego.
Silly me, Morgan's Avengers perplex trait comes into play. She can perplex down Starfox's dv to 16. Should've done so before but it didn't matter. Needs 6, rolls 7. SS is 5.
Starfox on Spectre, tries Flurrying on Spectre again. AV13 on DV18. Gets 7. Spectre makes it 6. Starfox's own PC makes it 9. SS is 1. 2 to Spectre. Starfox takes 1.
Now he has to contend with Shape Change before making his second attack, that's a 2. Now it's an AV10 on DV17. Gets 5. Tarot makes it 10. 2 more to Spectre, Starfox takes another click, KOing himself.
That 10 has a 4 in it, so Black Cat and Ego both heal 1.
Black Bat replaces him. She Flurries on Spectre, Battle Fury ignoring his Shape Change. (It's not often I do a Units section search for figures with Battle Fury). Av11 on DV18. Gets 7. He's down. She takes 1.
Ego on the Hawks, CCE for +1/+1, AV10 on DV18. Gets the 8. 2 to them after Invulnerable.
Rescue TKs Rose to L17, Perplexing her AV to 10.
Black Cat to N19
Rose on the Hawks, Flurry, AV10 on DV17. Gets 8, her Special lets it be Penetrating so 2 to them. Second attack on DV17. Gets 6. Black Cat makes it 7. KOs them.
Red Star to Break from the Drop Bear? Gets 1. Attacks the Drop Bear, AV10 on DV16 +2. Gets 11. KOs it.
I was hoping to get Red Star to block the Hawks. I guess I will have to have Leash do it instead, teleporting him to L16
Now that was the turn I was hoping for last time.

"I don't give up easily though," Starfox added, pressing the attack on Spectre, with better lucky this time. Spectre gave as good as he got though, and in the end it was Starfox that went down first.
"Let that be a lesson," Spectre said, as he stood back, wavering on his feet.
"I had a better lesson from another teacher. Always look for your opening," Black Bat said, striking quickly and knocking out the Spectre.
"Enough of your antics," Ego said, managing to grab Hawkgirl by one leg and pull her from the sky.
"Release her now!" Hawkman ordered him.
"Come and get her," Ego said. As Hawkman dove at him, he cast Hawkgirl to the ground where Ravager moved in to catch her before she could take to the air again. Having lured Hawkman in, Ego's greater strength was enough to knock him out with his monstrous fist.
"You were lucky, girl, but now you're simply foolish," Red Skull says to Blackbat. "Foolish but not protecting yourself better."
"Sometimes there is no protection," Crimson Avenger tells him. "Sometimes circumstances are beyond our control. Like me with these guns. They compel me to get revenge. And I have no choice but to obey."
