I do believe I am winning now. I own 2 trenchcoats, though one was my Army Class As black formal coat or whatever the official terminology for it was. Pretty sure it would not be a comfortable fit anymore.

My 6 yr old boy has now had 2 baseball games in the last 3 days, and work is crazy busy. He's doing oddly great for such a young kid, but damn the games last a LOOOOONNGGG time and it's not likely most 5-7 yr olds have the attention span to have an hour long practice before the game, then play another 1 3/4 hours. Most of the kids don't even know to run to the next base, or where to throw the ball to at this stage. But hey, at least my kid appears to be having some fun.

I split a case of WW80 with a buddy who came over Saturday night to open them. He got Sky Tyrant and Ch'P in his. I had one booster right off the bat with a Chase Hal Jordan AND the UC Prime White Gorilla dude in the GQ pose, along with the Rare Giganta, but the rest of the brick was pretty lame.

Made me think of a great book I read a couple years back, Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero - NPR Review

Wish I could read a book. I miss it but at the same time I can stay up to finish off an episode I am in the middle of watching. If I am reading I just drop the book and fall asleep.
However....
When I am reading in bed I like to lay down and hold the book above my head most of the time.

I wish I could report that the novelty socks had the same success of last weekend, but, I went 3-6 in 3 tournaments and pulled 6 rares and that didn't cut the mustard (Saturday 4 players, Sunday 5 players and Monday 10 players at 3 different venues). I made the most out of nothing Monday, playing my best games of all the tournaments, I played in, and still only went 1-2. I lost 100 to 90 in my final match, missing my final attack that would have given me the win. Sunday, I got 2nd and went 2-1, but, my loss was to my rival team-mate, who didn't play Saturday and dominated me in round 1. Saturday, I went 0-3 in a tournament where all the event participants, including me, are members of the Guild of (wintre) Mute Assassins. Proving once again my strength, as the leader of the clan, is assembling talent, knowing the rules and organizing tournaments. Even though I've won 35+ local events, my team-mates are the real reason the Guild is number 1 out of 960 teams on the WIN for last 12 Months. I might have stank it up this weekend, but, the Guild of Mute Assassins won all the local Wonder Woman 80th Anniversary pre-release and release tournaments going 5-0 with 3 different winners.

Possibly the greatest movie ever created.

The true inspiration for the Guild of Mute Assassins name for the clan was the song by Clutch. Originally, it was only available on the promotional single of "Careful With That Mic" that went out to radio stations in 2001. This was right at the end of my stint of being a radio DJ, so I was able to add this to my collection back then. It wasn't released to the public until 2003 on Clutch's album Slow Hole to China: Rare and Unreleased. Slow Hole to China was re-released in April of 2009 with 3 extra tracks, coincidence that wintremute won Worlds months later, I think not.
