Not only are you a Buccaneers fan but you're wrong here, too.
Ok, I thought we agreed last season to leave the football smack talking out of the realms...
Which makes it even more interesting that a person who's team has NEVER won the Super Bowl would fire the first shot.
I know we have our bets with Luke, but Mike and I have come up with some interesting "humiliation" bets for this season. But I think you are too much of a fairweather fan to take them seriously.
BTW, I am getting the tickets for the TB/SEA game this week. Oct 19th, mark it down on the calander.
1) Mr F CAN use Brillant Tac
2) Basically the only figs that get screwed for Feats are the ones that need a Symbol(Giant,Avengers TA, Duo, etc.) to use a feat.
Example: Harbinger CAN use Sidestep but Klarion cannot.
CROSSTIME HERALDS: Harbinger has the Duo attack symbol
KLARION AND TEEKL: Klarion can use the Duo Attack ability, but do not modify Klarion's damage by -1 for the second attack.
So for the sake of argument, Ms. Marvel can use Ambush and any other feats the require Stealth or Plasticity?
I don't want to play a game of chess where dumb luck or money decides whether or not I get to use a rook... Collectibility is a necessary evil of Heroclix, not a boon.
I used my UCW event dial and ring this weekend. There were 4 bouts, two 200 and two 300 pointers. My vet Mr. Miracle + rookie Big Barda dream team lost! I thought for sure his Mexican wrestling mask would assure victory. My pimp cane failed me, and the Juggernaut + Black Tom team went down hard and fast. Everyone was fantastically scared of my starter Thing + Mr. Fantastic + Invisible Girl team. I was gang tackled with that one. However, my monstrous Devil Dinosaur, Zombie Giant Man, rookie Lockjaw team did score my only win for the evening. Damn that powerbroker; he runs a mean game.

Can Skrull Yellow Jacket use charge and then turn his power off so hes not a giant anymore?
Also can he attack and use outwit as a giant and then turn off the power so hes not a giant?
Also when a power is turned off is it off until your next turn or do you to (can you?) declare that it is?
1) No
2) I will research this
3) It is off until the next turn period.
Here's a quote from the Wizkids forums about this:
Giant Man says he possesses the Giant symbol and Growth/Embiggen says that the have/has the Giant symbol. Has/have is equivilent to possessing it so they would have to cancel the powers in order to have them not be in effect.
...when Yellowjacket has the Giant symbol and can use Charge he can:
a) Be a giant and use Charge
b) Be a giant and no use Charge
c) Cancel the power, not be a giant and not use Charge
There is no scenario in which he can not be a giant but still use Charge. (Barring other factors like Earthbound)
well what I wanted to do was be a giant and use charge.
then turn off the power so hes not a giant on my oppoents turn.
I guess the real question is when can you turn powers off, and can you turn powers off that you have already used ? (not reeally a point for most powers but there could be some other obscure scenarios...

Of course...you won't read this until you return. So...I hope you enjoyed your vacation!

Yes you can do what you are wanting to do. Here is how it would play out.
On Your Turn:
Yellowjacket charges and makes an attack. As Unsung described he has to be a Giant while he performs this action.
You can use your Outwit using the Giant LOS rules.
You end your turn.
On Your Opponents Turn:
Yellowjacket begins the turn as a Giant, the power is turned on.
Opponent declares he is targeting Yellowjacket with Outwit.
In response, you declare that you are canceling the Giant Man White Power. The power is canceled until the end of the Opponent's turn and resets at the beginning of your next turn. For the remainder of the turn Yellowjacket no longer has the Giant symbol and can not use Charge (to potentially prevent knockback).
The Outwit action is negated and made illegal (assuming the figure no longer has LOS to Yellowjacket).
The Opponent can use Outwit again at some point during his turn.
Mad props for trying to break Hank Pym. Janet is smiling somewhere.
Not questioning your wisdom, Roland, and I can't imagine why this would have ever been discussed in the past, but are you sure you can cancel any of your powers or attributes during your opponent's turn? Seems a little odd to me. Assuming you can even turn off your powers during your opponent's turn, I challenge the timing you outlined.
As you describe the situation, I (your opponent) have outwitted you and THEN, in response, you declare you are smaller and thereby cancel LOS (assuming the Giant height was necessary for LOS). BUT, I have already performed the outwit. It has always been my understanding that once outwitted, you are outwitted unless the outwitter loses the power somehow. If I, the outwitter, move my position during the turn and lose LOS, it does not negate the outwit placed upon your character. By the same token, once I outwit you, just because you say you are no longer a giant, you made that declaration AFTER the outwit and therefore, the outwit should still be in play. Had you made a declaration PRIOR TO the outwit, I would tend to agree with you, but not as described. However, as stated earlier, I cannot imagine or recall a time prior to this that the question would have ever been raised, so this is untested ground in my opinion.
Am I missing something?

I'm not sure who is right on this, but it reminds me of the wildcard team ability, and how that can be changed every time an action is declared.
