Hey Guys. So I was building a team for floor and stumbled upon a team concept that reminded me of something from way back in the day.

This was before Indy came out and Vet Firelord was a PIMP. Everyone in town thought he was unbeatable (mainly because Derek & I never lost with him). Everyone was saying they were going to build a Vet Firelord team for this one tourney at Cheese Boy's. They wanted to win because some high end LE was up for grabs.

Well, I decided to build a brand new team concept without Firelord (or Ultron the #2 PIMP), and show eveyone that you can win without him. Needless to say, everyone else in town brought Firelord and I walked away with the LE.

The concept was Perplex & Willpower. Every main figure on the team had Perplex & 3 of the 4 had Willpower. Bubblehead you may remember this weekend because I spanked you too. :speechles


Flash forward to now, and I started thinking why couldn't we use this model for today's environment??? I know some of you guys don't like playing uber power, so I built a couple of teams that just may catch Shazam & Ms. Marvel off guard.

Run with the teams. What do you guys think? Are they any other figs that may work with the concept? What changes/upgrades would you make?

I like the Second team (and folks know I LOVE Slave GL!). Seems to me that this era's "Firelord" is the new Doc Strange (IMO). Dawny and Cos could borrow 2 outta 3 of Nighty's TA's.
Now I'll say something nice about the first team... With Dum-Dum's TA, and all the perplex, GL's range is 11! Nice and simple, teaches newbies how to apply modifiers to make a loss into a win.

I prefer slave Leia.

Once again, The Punisher rocked for me! I introduced the new guy to some Crit Hit Chain Gun action and Frank killed every fig on his team. A proper Vegas welcoming.
