With the appearance of the alter egos, which Spider-man would you think is best for stall? Or do you think that another alter ego would be more capable of filling in the holes in the deck?

sensational ego is awesome. to make him work though, you'd have to use sensational pre-combat, even twice via sub.
It's not going to be too hard to make a mtu-only list, either. without mind gem, we lose 1/3 of our draw effects though

Two ways to draw isn't so bad but we can always try using ego gem for the low drops since I doubt they will attack much.

What's our win condition for the Alter Ego event since it's MTU only?

I don't think sf can handle this event on its own. I'm thinking a defenders team-up, and they definately have good finishers in hulk 7 and strange 8

So this "Alter Ego" Event... Do you pick your character and get the ability and the your starting endurance is in the top left corner? Isn't hat kinda like wow?

vs is dying, so there doing anything at this point to keep it alive, just being honest, watch stu attack me and say the game is far from dying

i guess vs is stealing everything from wow first raid decks (giant vs sized) and now this, i believe yugi called it deck leader

The game is only dying because of negative people. If everybody would just keep an optimistic mind and continue to support the game it won't die. If people keep showing the same support they showed prior to the "big announcement" things would be fine. Everybody just heard "$100,000 payout for PC Indy, No more PCQ's etc." and just freaked. Keep in mind they were most likely losing money off PCQ's and I'm sure they were losing a lot of money off the pro circuit. Any business owner will tell you, if something isn't profitable or is losing money, get rid of it. To keep this game alive we need to show support for it. Which means getting off the computer and playing some games, setting up tournaments, teaching new players etc. Go spend some money on it. Its not THAT expensive. (If you don't have money to spend get a job...what ae you doing on the internet anyway?) Its all up to us now. If UDE sees that we love this game and are willing to make it worth it to keep printing it and coming up with innovative monthly formats month after month they will continue and the game wont die.

I'll be starting a new thread for this last post...considering it doesn't belong in the "Modern Spider-Friends" post.

I'd have to believe it's been discussed...I can't imagine it being so far out of reach that an indy comic label picked it up.
