I did not realise that this Despero's podium had a chess board with JLA characters on it, that sounds cool, though I reserve judgement until I see it in person.

Almost every team had Protected and/or Warbound (not that we expected any different) and over half the teams had chase figs ...

I don't know why that makes me mad I already hated chase figs but I like to see teams win that don't cost a lot of money (there actually were a few even though they had at least 1 protected and the team with no feats has chase Spider women), of course in any CMG or CCG thats the nature of the beast....

If the trend of Cardboard removal stays true there may (and now I am one of those hopeing) be a day where there are no more feats and BFCs.

If they took away those what would you all think?

I decided *not* to go the broken fig/warbound route. Granted, I did use protected on herc, but it was the only way to give my team a decent chance.

I dont think eliminating cardboard is the answer. It has a 10% limit and thats fine. Sometimes you need cardboard in order to make a figure useful.

WK just needs not to make LE cardboard extra-special. Thats the problem.

Jake Theis was innundated by the Envoys at the EAN's saying that LE cardboard was bad. Seeing that the next two sets are probably done it may go away after HoT

How much are SI bricks around town? Now that WizKids has said they'll take coupons through Oct 20th, I'm thinking about buying a brick and sending in for the BIBTB skrull.

I think Sci-Fi has one brick left and he was selling those for $100.
