Any Questions?
This is patently unfair.. you guys are doing this so I can't have ambush bug on my team.
Obviously you're trying to (badly) cover your blatent Ambushbugism, by trying to convince me to throw illegal feats on him.
I wasn't aware that he had no keywords. That does indeed make Inside Information pointless; you'll have to find another use for those 4 points. Maybe a Forbush Man?
Maneuver is still a legal choice, though - the prerequisites are Close Combat Expert (which he does not have), Combat reflexes (which he does not have), or the boot speed symbol (which he does have).

I stand corrected on the Maneuver front.. obviously it's you trying to confuse me.
Mr_Nobody won Mano-a-Mano with Ms Marvel, Ben came in second with Spider-Girl, I was third with Stardust, and Brendan came in fourth with Dr Strange and his butlers.
Next week, Thursday the 7th of May - Follow the Leader!
400 point constructed tournament; four actions per turn.
Retirement is not in effect.
Two rounds, two battlefield condition cards.
Your force must consist of one Leader and any number of related generics.
This week I played Batman and three Manhunters (one narrow win, one bye), Mr_Nobody played Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents (one bye, one narrow loss), and Ben played Green Scar, two Mieks, and a Native Warrior (one narrow loss followed by a narrow win).
Next week, Thursday the 14th of May - Share The One And Only Power!
400 point constructed tournament; four actions per turn.
Retirement is not in effect.
Two rounds, two battlefield condition cards.
All of the characters on your force must share a single power on the first click (by name and description). This is the only power they may use.
Any Questions?
Special powers that grant the use of a standard power do not count as that standard power - for example, Ms. Marvel's Exfiltration power would not allow you to use her on a Stealth-based team.
This week was won by Sgt_Grimes, who played a Poison team, with Mr Nobody (Super Strength) second, myself third (Charge), Ben fourth (Hypersonic Speed), Jarrett fifth (Probability Control), and BB_Downunder sixth (Hypersonic Speed).
Next week, Thursday the 21st of May - Power Origins!
500 point constructed tournament; five actions per turn.
Retirement is not in effect.
Two rounds, two battlefield condition cards.
All of the characters on your force must have gained their powers from the same general origin; see the examples listed below.
This week was won by me, although Sgt_Grimes had to pull out of the first game due to a sudden emergency. I played a "cyber systems" based team. Before leaving Sgt_Grimes had "bling" (rings and jewels) based team, Mr_Nobody played heroes who gained their powers from lightning, and Ben had characters whose powers came from a failed experiment with the Negative Zone.
Next week, Thursday the 28th of May - Comic Book Names!
400 point constructed tournament; four actions per turn.
Retirement is not in effect.
Two rounds, two battlefield condition cards.
The alter-ego of all of the characters on your force must follow one of the following rules:
Alliterative first and second names (eg, Peter Parker, Stephen Strange, Reed Richards, Bruce Banner, Kate Kane)
Both first and second names are commonly-accepted given names (Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, Allan Scott, Ben Reilly, Kate Kane).
Any Questions?
Most characters with alliterative names belong to Marvel; most characters with "double first names" belong to DC. I guess the judge will have to give us a ruling on whether names such as "Walters" and "Richards" count (surnames that are very similar to given names, except for the trailing S).
Character cards should fill you in on the real name of most characters in post-Avengers sets; otherwise, I recommend Wikipedia.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
From next week, I will be bringing in additional prize support for each game.
An American player (glen_smith; you can rep him here) has donated a box of spare clix to the venue, including figures from Collateral Damage, Armour Wars, Sinister, Supernova, Secret Invasion, and some collector's sets and action packs. This includes about thirty uniques, SRs, and hard-to-get figures from sets such as Invincible and Mrvel 2099. There's an excellent chance that you'll see figures that you don't currently have.
So each week I'll make a bag of figures to add to our regular prize pool of cracked boosters; this will be a mixture of commons and at least three uniques, super rares, or collector's set figures.
We've also got some extra maps from glen_smith - the Lab, the Junk Yard, the Prison, and the Anti-Monitor's Fortress. It might be a good idea to laminate a couple of these so they don't vanish from the store like some of the originals did.
I guess the judge will have to give us a ruling on whether names such as "Walters" and "Richards" count (surnames that are very similar to given names, except for the trailing S).
Have we received a ruling about this one way or another?
Looks like the judge hasn't been online since last Thursday - to be safe you might want to assume that they can't be used unless/until he pops in to say otherwise.
Clark Kent, technically, is an alliterative name. Consonantally aliterative, though you could rule and use definition #2 in the Macquarie which states 'same letter'. I figure the latter.
Or his name is Kal El, right? Which means he won't fit in either option... unless Kal and El are also Kryptonian first names...
