Found something neat it seems if you plug a 360 controller into a computer that also has a Microsoft wireless transceiver the 360 controller will function as though it's plugged into the 360 it's self. It would also appear the controller is drawing power from the computer as I don't have any batteries in the controller I'm using and yet it turns the 360 on and off without a problem.

Yeah, I have friends that use the 360 controller on their PCs. I haven't done it just because I have a laptop and the keys are right in front of me anyway.

I have a wired 360 controller that I've used as a gamepad for my PC games, for years. It's great for emulators.
My friend uses his laptop to charge his controllers, because it drives him nuts that the 360 shuts off and stops charging his controller.
I'm currently waiting for a new battery for my controller, as my two wireless controllers have no batteries, and are just using the tether to stay on. Which is annoying.
Though, those batteries lasted me about 4 years. So....that's pretty good.

If you ever try running an SNES emulator and such, you'll be glad you had that 360 controller around, trust me.

Odds of that happening are pretty low. Hehehehe.
As an aside... the new receiver? Sounds INCREDIBLE. I can't recommend Pioneer, as I had to trade it in... but Samsung is ungodly, yes indeed. I've never had this good of sound from the system. DTS-HD I LOVE YOU YES!

I cobbled together a sound system that was pretty dope using one of those old school seventies stereos w/turn table that also doubled as a shelf. I got it at a yard sale for $15 and it came with free delivery I had to attach new speakers but it was sooo worth the effort. Seriously, once I turned the volume to 8, set the base to 5, and decided to play Halo every time I pulled the trigger my house started to shake so to say that base was kickin is an understatement.
It's more like Final Fight actually. Not a bad game from the bit I played at a friend's house, but even in co-op, I got bored with it fairly quickly. Maybe if I was a fan of the comics I'd get some more out of it.
HC what is the Scott Pilgrim game like? It looks like it is sort of like Mario 3...
It is like and old school, side-scrolling, beat'em up, arcade game. Little story (defeat the evil exs), awesome video game references, and features a ridiculous soundtrack by Anamanaguchi. Feels a bit like the old X-Men arcade, Streets of Rage, The Simpsons Arcade, etc. Good value at the 800 pts price point only real downside is the co-op is local only . If you liked the movie and liked or remember playing some of those old games, I think you'll like it. Can't really compare it much to the books since I have only read the first volume. That Mario 3 part is mainly just how the world map is laid out. Demo is a pretty good representation of the game, so check that out. Be perpared to have you butt handed to you at some points of the game through, untill you figure out what shops to hit up and items to buy.
