Is it weird that getting my vacation time form in for this year for work makes me a bit sad? Don't think I can go anywhere this year due to finances so it's hard to choose dates to take a vacation. I have 4 weeks paid and a week of optional days that I can use at random.

I just usually try to go to SDCC every year, but can't this year. Not sure if I should just take those two weeks I normally take off for it just in case or what :-/

Comic Con isn't about nerd stuff anymore.

Well, Duh...it's pop culture, but they just don't seem to fit into a Comicon to me...but I think I am going to take 2 weeks in July in case I can go to SDCC this year, then 2 weeks as I hear NYCC is pretty cool as well...though not sure how I feel about going to New York...hopefully family won't expect me to visit them somehow :-/. Last years SDCC was pretty cool though, think it was probably the coolest by far I have been to and I only ended up going to like 2 panels...
