Flurry: break the wall then break opponent's figure.
the guy i play against on a regular basis always uses supes with fortitude/shellhead/RS i like to perplex supes defence up when he hits those toughness clicks just to bug the heck out of him either that or i have DR fate PT around his medic when he moves it. he actualy got up from the table and hit the wall one night!
If I understand you correctly you are perplex'ing up Superman's DV in an attempt to make it harder for your opponent to heal him...right?
Um...that won't work. Your Perplex ends at the end of your turn. So perplexing anyone's DV up is a waste of time.
FYI
What we do in life echoes in eternity!
Respect is a given, only disrespect can be earned.
My favorite is to place a R, E, and V Destiny in front of R Invis Girl on an object, about 1/4 of the way up on the map on a rooftop to give LoF across most of the map. If you attack anyone, you have to re-roll 1 to 3 times. To hit anyone in the grouping and gte rid of PC, you have to roll against an 18, and be PC'ed one to three times. If by some miracle you roll four successful hits, you still have Destiny's Super Senses to contend with.
And all this only costs 109 pts, leaving almost a full 200 point army to support it!
You can only make someone roll an attack roll once.
Nasty Tactic A
Run a PC theme team.IE Owlman, Longshot, Domino, Jinx, and other combat PCers. Nobody ever hits.
Nasty Tactic B
Low Gravity and The Flash. Especially w/ Armor Wars in play too. Nothing Like The Flash doing 3 damage against Everybody., It's like EW plus.
After NAAT my favorite tactic of old was to Charge in with Kilowog and then TK the opposing figure back into my eight Indy BCF figures. This would almost always catch an opponent off guard who thought they could handle a single attack, but not three or more(one or two of the figures would be Morlock Leader, Logan and Spiral)
WizKids GamePlay, "You can only play our game if you buy the new stuff. Those old figures are dirty and obsolete."
Record vs VGA d1sc1pL3: W-3 L-0
My favorite tactic is to have Black Adam run up to a stealthed character with a heavy item in hand, smack them, and finish his move away from them: But carry away their cover, letting my artillery finish them off
Carp In A Hat! I can't believe this very old Thread reared its head again.
Many of the tactics/strategies may be old, but I still find myself using Perplex to up my range just when my opponent put his figure(s) 1-2 squares away from my printed range.
Snipers, in high places matched up with some good close combat fighters, someone like hawkeye or punisher might help you win the game because they sit up there all small and smug try not to draw attention to them just kinda let them go to a almost opaque spot then distract your oponent with your close guys, well wait till they get in just the right spot and just try and land a few hits from them snipers it knocks em down a peg then you can take them out with your close guys
also purposely placeing a heavy object on a roof then useing a ranged guy with stealth , you can place him up on a roof and your oponent cant see you... but here is the catch if you reallly wanna get tricky you can knock down the corner of the roof he is on as if you where busting through a wall, it will force him to fall takeing knockback damage (someone did this to me in a tournament a long time ago so i am not sure if it is still legal)
i have a question can a charecter with charge still be carried then once the carrier reaches its destination the charging charecter can then sprint away and charge the opponent in the same turn?. i did that once a long long long time ago just curius if it was legal lol
