Do you remember what the odds of pulling a zombie chase in the Supernova set were?
I know this sounds stupid since it is just 4 away but I heard that it is 1 in 100 boosters. Because it was not guaranteed in 2 cases but more so if you had 3.

So I had a little pick-me-up this morning. I had the phone interview today that was supposed to happen Tuesday. While on the call, I told the nice lady in Kentucky (where the HR dept was located) that I could supply references. She said "We don't need your references, you have a solid reputation in this industry, we know who you are and there has been a campaign by the underwriters from X and Y insurance to hire you."
So yeah... that put a spring in my stride. Now I am off to Bed, Bath and Beyond to pick up lonely soccer moms.
I have owned at one point or another all 4 of those Zombies, but never more than 1 at a time.
Is that like how a man can have long hair, a mustache, and a pink shirt but should never have all three at the same time?
(You know you can picture this guy, and you know can therefore imagine why this is sound advice.)

I've heard 1:100 as well, but that's never been stated officially. I've always therefore just assumed it was 1:2 cases.
My office window looks out across a small courtyard into the side of a hill where another hospital sits across the street.
Today someone came out of a side entrance went up the hill to smoke because there is no smoking on hospital grounds.
Well he was a bit chilly and decided to put his hands in his pockets I assume as he headed down the hill. Well he slipped and went down the hill ass over tea-kettle with no way to stop himself since he had his hands in his pockets.
The best part is that they mowed earlier in the day and in addition to being beat up from falling down the hill he was covered in grass.
Made my day, and the ###### week worth it.
And it is not his first fall down the hill, he fell in January when it was snowing as well.

That set has some issues. A guy I know pulled 8 Captain Marvels and 3 Super Skrulls out of his case. Tuttle sent him a new case to make up for it. A guy I used to hang with split a case of it with me and the sculpts didn't match the bases for a great many figures. By the end of the case, it worked out to only being 2 bases with the wrong sculpts. I got a case of it cheap after that and pulled the perfect case (complete set of figs with a chase). I miss being able to pull a full set from a case. That was awesome!
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.

Note the 22 rookie Tessas in total.
I know people complain about WK's quality control, but after that case I can pretty much handle any problems I come across short of opening a booster and having a gnome jump out, pierce my yambag with a leather punch, and then crawl inside to play hacky-sack.
I had the same issue with my case...and the same resolution.

The weirdest part about it is that the problem only seemed to occur in the second half of that set's production/packaging.
