Why wouldnt people use the spoiler?
If you could, right now, ask someone for the spoiler and get it (and you're a 'pro player'), would you?
If the answer is no, why? There you go, you answered your own question.
As for why people got it in the first place, well the first reponse to 'hey i got the spoiler you want it?' is obviously 'sweet, yes!' However with all the uproar over the avengers spoiler and now the xmen spoiler, and the impact of having the xmen spoiler, people presumably have different perceptions about having a spoiler nowadays. Plus its a lot of work proxying up a whole set, and convincing someone else to do the same, and practicing with them. Especially when some of the final cards inevitably are different from the versions in the spoiler. You dont learn anything from reading over a card list, you have to play with the cards first.
Originally posted by HunterCrow as long as you have faith in your skills and have a solid strong deck. If you have that, then the people who already got the new cards don't have any advantages.
When I first read this, I laughed so hard tears streamed out of my eyes and I almost fell out of my chair. I still can't stop giggling whenever I read this.

It doesn't matter as long as you have faith in your skills and have a solid strong deck. If you have that, then the people who already got the new cards don't have any advantages.

I'm willing to bet that if the spoiler is truly out to some pr players, it's somewhere on the internet. If you search long enough, you can probably find it, if the rumors are actually true.

Originally posted by Ertai87 Someone would have posted it somewhere, I'm sure. I don't know why or how, but someone did it.
Is it out there somewhere and I've missed it?
If I had to guess, I'd say the leak was actually an email from some UDE guy to some pro, and if that pro was on the team that email would have gotten sent to teammates. There's no need or reason to post it on the net--anyone who had it would have a vested interest in keeping it private anyway.

That, or the only other viable scenario, which was a hard copy of the spoiler list was given to a player or group of players. If it's posted anywhere on the internet, it's probably on a team's private forum or some webpage not accesible to the unwashed masses.
