New Question....Identify the Marvel character who lost out on their super-hero gig after appearing in a music video with Joey Buttafuoco.
O.K. do you mean they were kicked off a team? I'll guess the current Antman from the Initiatve stuff. Sounds like something he would do. (I have the short run he starred in) They could have also have taken away his suit thus he be super no more.

You know, you use the word "gig" there and it came to mind that that may be a clue. "Gig" is a word used in the music biz more then anything, and I can only think of two music inclined characters in Marvel Comics.
One, obviously, is Dazzler, but I doubt she would be in a music video, especially with a guy with that last name (I use to watch a lot of Letterman way back when). And she's still considered a super hero these days.
The other one, now that one is a possibility since she did disappear from the music scene and was a real-life person. That would be the infamous "Nightcat", Jacqueline Tavarez.
Hats of you, JTR...a very well-reasoned case for your answer, which is also correct!
Had I really thought it through, I would've also remembered the original line-up of KISS being in a Marvel comic mini and might have said it was them instead. Good thing I forgot about them.
I'll go with Dreadstar. (Being a Jim Starlin fan, I've always wanted to read that series, but never got around to it)
I'm sorry, but that is absolutely correct.
And while I'm not that big a fan of Starlin's, I did read the first of the TPB's of Dreadstar. I can't remember what company puts it out, but it's not Marvel and it was just a few years ago, maybe in late 2006 or so.
For me, Starlin’s a lot like J.M. DeMatteis – when he’s on, he’s very good, but when he’s not, his penchant for excessive dialogue can definitely rub you the wrong way. I find him to be pretty decent when he sticks to the corner of the Marvel Universe he helped define (Warlock, Thanos, and that lot).
Anyhow, time for a new question. Since DZ brought up the topic of “comics in comics” with Solarman a few days ago, I’ll give this one a shot:
What hero, who made his debut in 1969, had a room which was shown to include not only Captain America-themed items, but also copies of Stan Lee’s Origins of Marvel Comics and Son of Origins?
