heads up, 30 oct - 2 Nov is Neoncon at Palace Station. I will be running three events there:

11am - 1pm Day of the Dead Heroclix tournament. 400 pt Unrestricted, team must consist of dead heroes and villians or that have died at one point in their comic career. Prizes: Judge Heralds; Winner 2 Heralds, Fellowship 1 Herald, Best Themed Dead Team 1 Herald (Blow that dust off of your Marvel Zombies!)

2pm - 5pm DC Battle Royale - A massive 3'x5' 3D board. I will provide the teams, DC Heroes vs DC Villians. Prizes: Knightfall Batman, leftover Arkham prize support, Death of Supergirl Event Dial.

6pm - Dark Age Demos, no not Mech Warrior, the TTG I am a developer for.

A one day pass is $40, steep I know, but you can get discounts from local stores. All events I am running are free.

Are there any differences in the dials between the different versions (Original, Orange, Purple Pants). Are the only differences the paint jobs?

Yes. Probalby handing out dups from my Arkham case as well, I may up the ante if it will bring people.

Are you running each event each day, or are specific events on specific days, or are they all run on one specific day.

Hey Guys. I need some help brainstorming for a team. You may or may not know Zoom was previewed for Arkham.

And trust me when I say he is Tits! I think he may be the alternative power build to Ms. Marvel. I just don't know what the build is...yet. That's where you all come in.

Here are my thoughts for what the team should be. I just need to figure out what figures fit these slots.

• The team needs to be a 4 or 5 figure team. That way it outnumbers the 3 fig Blondie teams. Pogs do not count.
• The team has to have a Perplexer, or a Perplex like white power that can increase Zoom's damage. This is the most important figure on the team. Once this one is chosed, then you can see what points are left over for the remaining figs. You can't have a fig that only has Perplex (ie Alfred or Penguin) that does nothing else. It, in essence, adds those points to Zoom and makes him the same cost as Blondie and you lose your advantage. It would be really nice if it was on the 1st click and you didn't have to push to it.
• The team needs a Tker. Preferably 2 clicks of TK, but if the other figures on the team are just boss for the points, then a Marvel Girl for 40pts will do.
• A secondary attacker. This figure has to have move & attack. It would be optimal to have this be the Perplex fig. If it is not the Perplex fig, it has to be a Running Shoter. Maybe you can get away with this being your Tker (Slave Lantern or Dr. Spectrum) but the 2 remaining figs have to be the Perplexer and another attacker, and one of them has to have move & attack.
• You have to have a shooter with a nat 3 damage that isn't the Tker to break walls for LOS.
• Outwit is not mandatory for the team.
• Any non-Tk figure that does not have move & attack should have Stealh. Unless it is just Boss or has multiple support powers.
• Ideally you want to have at least 2 flyers for mobility. But some builds may be able to get away with 1.

Throw out your suggestions of figures/builds. Thoughts on strategy, what else do you think Zoom needs. Or your thoughts on one of the above points. Jazz like that.

Back in the day this is how we, and by we I mean Vegas HeroClix players, would develope teams for each other and how we used this thread. It is ok to talk about gameplay and strategy in the thread.
