Anyone know where registration is this year for Dragon Con? I was given the sagely advice of getting my ticket today to avoid the rush on Friday but no one mentioned where registration actually is.

Dragon*Con Registration will be in the Grand Hall in the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Enter from Baker St.
Above from Dragon*Con website. I've been visiting it much over the last 2 days. The website does not post the time, but I heard Thursday sucked last year, while early Friday was a breeze. I was early Saturday last year and it sucked. Good luck!
I have a ton of stuff for drafts. Over a case of origin, 2 cases of avengers, some horrorclix. I even through in some sinister and Mutant Mayhem in case someone's feeling nostalgic.

Hmm... Well, I guess I'll give it s hot Thursday and if the line is obscenely long, I'll get up butt-arse early on Friday and get in line.
My girlfriend actually refuses to go this year as she was in line for 5 hours last year. I think she got there on Saturday.

Justin- Are those being allocated over the 4 days, or first come first serve? I may not make Friday, but Sunday is still looking good. Looking forward to some drafts, but hopefully there will be more than just MM left to pull from.

I wish I had called you Steve. If I had known I would have waited around and sat in line with you. It took me about 30 minutes to get my badge. I sat and talked to a nice cougar who was quick to tell me she was not married. She also told me of her love or Harry Potter books and dogs. Also, abject hatred of Mike Vick. Good times. Plus, there were cowboys there with big buckles. Yeeeeeeeeeeeee-Haaaaaawwwwwwww!!!!!!!

No way! What time did you get in line? I went at 7:00 pm and the line was outside and down the block. I went back just about 45 minutes ago and the same thing. I'm going to try again tomorrow morning. If the line's the same length, I might call it a day and not get a ticket. I'm thinking that I can get one on Sunday (for Sunday and Mondy only) and there'll be a tolerable line at that point so you boys might not see me until then. So wish me luck tomorrow morning.

I got to registration at about 8:00 am and got out shortly after 9 am. I still need to cobble together an army for tonight's 5pm Horrorclix game, but I can do that before I get there.

Do any of you guys know which stores price match. Liza would like to get a Navigation system. We found one online that she likes and it is a really good price. So, what stores will price match. It might be different also because the prices are from an online store rather than a brick and mortar store. Thanks guys.
Thanks for that info. We tried to do it last night at Wal-Mart but they did not price match. I was really surprised.
That IS surprising. The reason I know BestBuy does it, is that I got a rain check at Target for SOCOM 3 since they were out (and had the cheapest price). So, we go in to BestBuy right after that, look around, and find that they still have SOCOM 3 in, but it is $10 more. I asked them if they did price matching and they said they did, so I showed them my raincheck receipt from Target and they rang it up at that price. It was pretty damn easy.

We tried to get the item at both Best Buy and Circuit City. The people at Best Buy were very courteous and attempted to accomodate us. But, they did not price match because it was an online dealer. The girl at Circuit City said that they do not price match unless it is a local competitor. I made what I thought was a very logical argument stating that the internet helped to contribute to a global economy which makes every company a local competitor. This didn't go over well. I think that she was upset that I bothered her in the first place.
So, from now on I no longer shop at Circuit City. But, Best Buy is still fantastic because they were courteous, professional, and made an effort to assist me.
