I'm wanting to go to the New Guy Night in Vegas, but I can't find anyplace that's having it.

Dreamland Hobbies: their phone number of 313-8111 is disconnected.

Kool Kollectables: the guy who runs it isn't there, and no one has a clue what I'm talking about.

The Collective (in Boulder City): the guy is in a lease dispute with his landlord and doesn't even know if he can get into his shop to run it.

Anyone have any info that could help me?

I'm sure someone will post here exactly where to go for NGN.

Today was New Guy "Night" at Kools, but Wizkids did not send the fig or map, so it was just an ordinary day. You'll be able to go to Kools another Saturday (although I understand not NEXT Saturday) and they will honor attendance at a NGN event and give you a fig and map.

Man, I guess I should have gone down there then today. I was going to take my daughter to teach her, and also brush up on some of my understandings of the rules, but since they didn't seem to know what was going on when I called I decided against it.

I hate to break this to everyone, but Karl (Hair10) was fired by WizKids as HeroClix Rules Arbitrator. The announcement came Friday (10/20) night at 12:21am.

Most of you may not know Karl, but those who have had contact with him at the cons know he is a great guy. And all of you have heard me talk about him. I urge everyone to go to these threads and post their displeasure at this decision.

I doubt anything offical will ever come out about this. I'm currently trying to find out information through some back channels. Even then I may not be able to tell you anything. When I have more imformation I will let you know.

Tournament at the Major Venue:
This week it is 300pt restricted. Your Captain will be building the teams for everyone. We will try an simulate a Top 8 at an Invitational to help The Stuntman of Team Vegas, Bubblehead, get ready for Texas.

I'll tailor the teams to each of your playstyles and not ask you to play something out of your range. I need everyone to bring their own BFCs and Feats to use. I know I don't have enough. Also, certain figs will need to be brought that are used on multiple teams.

I know right now, if you have an Oracle, bring her.

TITS: Playing a game of Heroclix with 6 of my friends

NOT TITS: Having that crappy HT vet Superman hit my Son of Darkseid with a roof-top airconditioner taking him off of that all-powerful first click.

TITS: Revenge. Outwitting his Superman's imperviousness, TKing SoD next to him, picking up an Electric Pole, rolling a critical hit, smashing him with close combat expert, and having him bounce off a semi on his way back for a total of 4 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 10 points of damage. My best attack EVER!

NOT TITS: Finding out that Superman goes 11 clicks deep, and not being able to finish him off. Watching as the next guy pings him for 1 and gets the points.

No longer just the "Old Man" of Team Vegas, the Captain has conferred a new title upon me.
