He got off another energy blast at her, but she raised her shields, which involved backlash and a lot of cosmic fire. "You really dob't have any idea what you're up against, do you?" she asked him.

"Wildcat, forget about the dwarf. We need to deal with Magneto," Red Robin said.

"Right," Wildcat said. "I'll be right behind you." He turned back to Puck. "I've seen how you fight. Very acrobatic and using your size in your favor. Me, I'm pretty straightforward, but once I've figured out a guy's style, I can usually beat 'im."

"'Zat so?" Puck said, cartwheeling into the wall and using his legs to rebound off of it and at Wildcat. To Puck's surprise, Wildcat was ready for him, meeting him with a fist to the gut and another to the chin, and Puck was down.

"Yeah, that's so," said WIldcat.

"Right," Omega Red laughed. "That's what they all say when they realize you're a lot tougher than they thought."

"No, it is what I say when I have toyed with you long enough," Darkseid stressed, blasting Omega Red point blank with a blast that sent him flying like a missile into Magneto. Magneto didn't get up from the hit, but Omega Red staggered back up.

"No, stay down," Hourman told Omega Red. "Really, it is best if you do." An energy blast finished Omega Red too.

Phoenix hss to P10 triple targeting Darkseid, Hourman and Jinx. Rolls 6. Hourman makes that 11. Darkseid rolls 3 for imperv. He'll take it all then, net of 3. Jean ends where she started.

While that's nice, I don't really have a good way to get to Darkseid even with two replacements coming in. Plans to draft big guns don't make of a lot of sense if I can't get to yours.

You can't get to Darkseid, but I'm not having any luck getting to Phoenix either. Let's see if I can change that. When I brought in Earth Man, my first impulse was to bring in Eradicator, but I thought it was the perfect chance to give Earth Man's SP a go. Silly me. Eradicator it is this time. I'll Lazarus Pit him.

He goes through the teleporter to O11. Alfred makes his AV 12.

The Shi'ar screamed in pain, but unlike most victims of Darkseid's most dangerous weapon, he wasn't disintegrated. He was too strong for that.

"We do seem to have out work cut out for us," Eradicator said, hitting the Phoenix with his heat vision.

"Lots of other stuff I'll cut out for you too," Sabretooth said, "soon as I finish with this jerk. Which should only take a few more seconds."

"Pretty confident, punk," Earth Man said.

"Remember, I know just how much blood you've lost," Sabretooth reminded him.

Gladiator flies in with an arrogant yell as if to announce his arrival. Wounded, he still takes on both Darkseid and Hourman.

"Unfair," Sabretooth grumbles to Earth Man, "Gladiator gets to have all the fun with Darkseid and I'm stuck here with you." Claws slip into Earth Man's side. "A problem I won't here for too much longer."
