I have since fixed that. According to the signs at the local FYE, March is metal month. I wasn't about to argue with that, so I grabbed the latest from Iron Maiden and Disturbed.
Speed of Light is my favorite off the Book of Souls album (and is also the only one I had heard before.)

Haven't listened to the Disturbed cd yet. I'll put that one in tomorrow.

The office pool this year gets $100k to the winner. If anyone gets a perfect bracket for the first two rounds, then the $1M per year for life is split among those who do that.

I'd kinda like to win that.

not really, friend of mine told me once that for the first round you go by stats and then personal preference from there. it almost helped me win a gift card one time.

It amazes me how some pieces clearly are pretty good from the beginning but don't reach the ROC prices for a while.

Heh. Funny story!

I had a strange weekend.

Saturday at 10pm I get a call from Search and Rescue asking me if I've seen my oldest son. "No, he was going to the mountains with his friends." Well, his friends reported him lost. Around 1am we get the call that he was found. A very stressful night.

Sunday night, I went to see the band Devil You Know. After 3 songs, a fire alarm went off. Turns out the bathrooms were flooding and the flooding couldn't be stopped, so they evacuated the building.

What were they flooding with?
