whooooo... [watches all the CNC players fainting] an HS madcat iv? straight up? heh heh....

I went to play on the weekend and by accident forgot my Bishop Heli at home. Brought 4 boosters to see if they could help and boy did they ever. Branum Drummond and Bailey first booster, Next booster Gwin and her mech. Also pulled RD Marauder IIC,Liao Griffin, JF Raven, HK Vulture MK IV, RS Gambit, HS Mad Cat MK IV and then for Vehicles, HS Padilla, HS Carnivore, CW Padilla, Liao Partisan, and Infrantry well I got RS Wraiths, Liao Mono, JF Purifier, Liao Laser team, JF Purifier,HS SRM team and HS Inner Sphere. For Cards I got Full strike H, Extended Range L, Artermis IV M, CIWS H, Agility L, Rocky terrain.
Hey when the call to arms for this set come about?

welll the player i trade with usually trades everything away for stuff for his HD/HS. i promised if id pull the HD Atlas he would get it we traded it together with Hotseat and CNC Vixen, i pulled HS Madcat in sme booster and offered it for trade with any other HS/HD goodies. later that night he had two of the CJF players divide the lot he basicly gives away. to me he has a lot of credit when it comes to trade (so when i manage to get some nice figs through trade

basicly everyone here has 2 to 3 fave factions to play so makes it easy to trade since basicly everyone collects a diff group except 1 who collects all.

im the diehard CNC fanboy at our group, got the dice got the jewelmarkers) the guy i got the CNC Vixen traded all CNC-CW-WH-BR out of a case earlier for the ARES BF (that was an offer i had a hard time refusing) I managed to get the Ares set through a trade (Gunsho LE marksman, Beagle probe and a few other cards) but would field the stuff from boosters more often and since i didnt have that much cash for WS it was welcome, with not to much effort i completed all my 4 factions except 2 figs.

So i still am looking for CW Marauder and Raven though and have an extra Bailey and CNC Marauder for anyone who s interested.

Has anyone pulled ROTS Mantueffel tanks that are missing the ROTS logo on the turret? Bought a pair off eBay and they are missing the logo (another sure sign of QA issues but otherwise in great shape).

I was really surprised to get 4 uniques out of 6 boosters! I figured the ratio for very rares would be 1-3, now that there are two 'Mechs per booster. I got their correct pilots and gear too, and all my units have the correct dials!

But I gotta bring up the fairly large downside. Lots of the units I pulled have pretty shabby paintjobs. The CW Skadi I pulled has the same problem as the Bishops from AN: the hole unerneath is smaller than the peg on the base. I ended up breaking off the circular part with the peg, which is how I found out. The CJF Gambit is a mess. Its torso is turned backwards and can't be moved, and its legs have nearly broken off. I'm mailing this one in for replacement today. "Fell" came in two halves, the legs and the base, and the rest of it. Luckily, it doesn't look like it was ever attached (ironic, I know), so it should be easy to fix. The glue's drying right now, in fact. And I got 3 Madcat MKIVs, and two Gambits, from 6 boosters. I also got several duplicates of pilots and gear already! That's not very good collation, IMO.

I pulled many 'Mechs, 3 of them Madcats, with a foot that's come unglued, or was never glued to the base. I am pretty frustrated right now. I never had problems like this with DO and VG. How did WK have a QC-relapse?

i bought one booster this weekend and pulled as close as possible to a dream booster
