You are so silly. Did you guys have fun on Sunday? I would have loved to come and play clix or some Vs. at least but I was slavin' for the man at work. When are you guys getting together again for your Horrorclix tourneys?

I see it as Karma, given that I opened 3 packs that had 4 commons and 1 rare. And I have yet to see Doomsday OR Lobo.

Horrorclix is every other Thursday so not this upcoming one, but the following one (9/20). I'm not sure if Justin will be in town or out on a dig though so it might be Aaron and Paul only.

Yeah, we had fun on Sunday. Before the actual Heroclix tournament, I played a feated-out 300 point Doomsday and Abbra Kadabra against Chris' Superman One Million and Flash team. Abbra took a dirt nap pretty quickly, but Doomsday wiped the board clean of the enemy after that. He's super-nasty and rather fun to play.

I'm jobless as of next week so I'll be at horrorclix.

Doomsday is a beast. I beat up a 600 point foom almost entirely with him. Plus, he beat up a Silver Surfer pretty well also. Granted, Liza did not play the Surfer that well. But, she played the Stardust pretty well the next game and cleaned my clock. Stardust is nasty. Doomsday is a beast though.

Being jobless is fantastic. It is way underated.

Anyone who decided to wait until later to get figures is much smarter than I am. I bought a pack yesterday which I do not regret too much since I was going to buy something either way for that price. But, I just bought the Super rare Wonder woman and Batman for $5.00 a piece off of ebay. I do not mind buying the product I am getting because I want to support my comic shop. But, I might do what I planned on doing for Avengers and only play in a few of the events this go round and save some money to put towards VS instead. But, we will see. I did really enjoy playing in the events from the CoG events. But, if you are trying to get the SRs just turn to ebay before you put down all that money buying packs.

Buying boosters is not as much fun as it used to be. As I was opening my brick of avengers, Rottgutt had finished opening his. We had identical bricks. I knew what was in my last 4 boosters and that killed the enthusiasm. I've had horrible pulls with JLA with 6 or more dupes out of 5 boosters and no SR. Ebay or trading is the way to go at this point, especially after you have bought an initial allotment of boosters.

Where are you buying your books these days, d-roc?

I stopped picking up books shortly after the last issue of the Ultimates came out. The only book I still pick up with any regularity is "The Boys".
