I'm a big fan of Ronin, and I think it's a nice job. You should mod your camera so that it takes pictures in focus.

Yes the same Dum-Dum. Hawkeye has been a favorite of mine sice my first comic serries as a teen, Secret Wars. Any storylines that focus on him, I have to check out. Thanks for the compliments.

Very nice, I always thought Hawkeye was cool, though the first time I saw him was either on that old avengers video game or the Iron Man cartoon ( 90s ).

And I would love to talk more Cardinals smack but while my faith is growing, the NFC west is unusually weak this year and the Cards wins have been somewhat close.... lets see how they do against the Giants that will be their trial by fire this season (at least until they make it to the playoffs, but hopefully this wont be the last time they play each other...)

Action Comics and Sports has the Dec and Jan prize support, yes I will run the events as if WK is still up and running. I will post the dates for Jan here, and of course create casual events if I can on the WK site.

FYI AA Week 5 the Knight Fall Event dial week I will be handing out the KnightFall Batman to the top wiener. My events are on sundays 1130 am. This sun there isnt an WK sponsered event but will run World of Warcraft mini game demos if anyone is interested.

Allright for the LSOM event on 12/6/08, I was thinkng of running another large tourney. I was thinking of the middle round being 400pts. unrestricted but all teams must be themed after a TV theme songs or any song lyrics.

EXAMPLE:
Theme: the Flintstones
*Devil Dino & Moon Boy (Bam-Bam and Dino)
*Vandal Savage (Fred)
*Ka-Zar (Barney)
ETC...Filler....

I do like a bigger tourney with chaning teams between rounds. How about a 400pt unrestricted Comic Accurate team? I have an Ultimate Brotherhood team I have been dying to play.

Also, since Rules Arbitrators are no more, how about we start house ruling some of these rules to make them more to our liking. For instance:

Mind Control:

• When you mind control a figure it does add a token to them.
• You can mind control a figure if it has 2 tokens on them.
• You do Not take the pushing damage for mind controlling over 100pts of figs.

Hey guys. Spoke w/ Jeff today and came up with some options for the next LSoM tourney. Going to have a different build/theme each round. Here are some we came up with, let me know what you think.

Alternate/Parellel Earths:
Every figure on your team has to be from an alternate/parellel earth. This could be a differnt universe like M2 or Ultimate universe, or from a different earth, like Earth-2 or Earth-51. Or an alternate storyline like 2099 or Days of Future Past. Pretty much anything that isn't Marvel 616 or DC Earth-1 figs.

Man out of time:
Every figure on your team has to be from a different time. Figures with the Keywords Future or Past, or time travelers like Cable or Bishop. Even figures from a different period of time now in current time like Captain America.

That sounds interesting!, throw in a comic accurate theme team for the third and that sounds like a plan!

Maybe a wrestleing or sports theme?

of course the wrestleing might be dominated by Ult Thor (AKA Tripple H)

as for the rules changes I say lets not go crazy Though I would not be against seeing the 100 point damage for MC go away. maybe make it 200 if anything.

The february DC comics are up on their site. Some bad news and good news:

First it appears Bruce does indeed die. Nightwing, Robin, and Birds of Prey are getting cancelled(the site only lists BoP's final issue but I saw elsewhere that N & R are stopping too.) Batman and Detective will have a story not unlike "What Ever happened to the Man of Steel" Shortly before Byrne took over for Superman (shudders, bad days, yes bad days)

The Good news?

They are restarting Adventure Comics (YAY!) and R.E.B.E.L.S. is back!!!!!
