Here's the deal - I'm trying *very* hard not to be annoyed by this whole thing. The rules were laid out from the beginning and he noted that there were only 6 people in the sealed parts 2 weeks before you guys cared.

Additionally krusti is bending over backwards to make this ok and you are still complaining...

This isn't Gencon. It's the final event for a storyline driven OP event, so I'm keeping thematic by saying Marvel Only and requiring at least 1 figure with your faction's keyword to be on the team. There are plenty of low cost figures with the keyword to meet the requirement and a total of 1035 possible figures that you could play with the Marvel only 300 restriction.

The X-Men need 1 more win to lock down the faction win with 3 more events. They are Participation points (for participating). If you chose to use the bye option, there are no points for sealed if you do not play in sealed. You do, however get points for the constructed finals which will help you towards the Phoenixbuster.

Rally your X-Men faction to help you lock the team win. Although, you might have some issues rallying your team at this point. The Avengers seem pretty pumped to knock the X-Men out in the last couple of days (I'm not quite sure why )

Your reward is not having to grind through 3 additional rounds (and be mentally fresh for the constructed finals), you don't have to spend $25 for boosters, and if the X-Men win 1 event before Month 4, you've already locked in the Phoenixbuster. That is not a penalization, it's the rules for the event. Part of the purpose of the teams is to coordinate with other members to get as many of them showing at an event so you can lock it down.

If you want the participation points, you can always pass off the bye to the next highest on points and enter sealed. That's not a problem. Then you will be at the luck of your pulls, and relying on your skill and dice rolls to be in the top 6.

The two highest on points will also be getting an additional prize that I didn't include before you brought your concerns to light, which I will be paying for out of my own pocket. So just so I'm clear, you would like something else in addition to the bye (saving $25, no playing 3 rounds of sealed, and an additional prize) in order to lock down the Phoenixbuster?

Seriously, Dustin has made you whole and then some. If you are still complaining about this you really need to realize that you haven't been wronged in some egregious manner.

Look i never ask dustin to do any of this if u read the posts iam the one that said i was wrong cause i didn't understand the layout correctly. And as far that the 300 modern post it was just a suggestion cause that what the last post said!!!!

So i had a suggestion and listed it!!!!

And John if your so annoyed with this "situation" then don't be apart of this situation. As i said before i may not like the set up and didn't fully understand it. But do i care no and no i don't want anything extra out of dustins "pocket". I truly can't wait til month 4 is over so i don't have to be apart of this.

This Sunday- 3/16/2014 is AvX Month 3 (in case you haven't been following along)

Bring 300 points of figures from the Avx set (figures with the AvX set logo. This includes the starters, and the LE's)

Purchase any (2) Heroclix boosters, or any (8) single figure boosters (or a combination of the above. 4 single figure boosters= 1 regular booster).

From all available figures, construct a 400 point team utilizing at least (1) figure from the AvX set. The Phoenix Force resource dial may be included on your team. You may use the Emma Frost fragment that you will get at this event as part of the resource.

**If you purchased an AvX starter at The Compleat Strategist and have not used this option yet with that starter, you may instead treat the event as 400 points Modern Age Marvel Only Floor event (50% of your build must come from the starter you are selecting to play). No prime figures may be included on your force. Phoenix Force is the only resource you may play.

PRIZES- White Phoenix Hope LE for *1st and fellowship*.
Laminated maps for the *top 8 players*.
Emma Frost Phoenix Force fragments for *all players*.
Hope Summers LE *for players on the X-Men faction*.
Professor X LE *for players on the Avengers faction*.

You should try and get the venue to provide 10 single figure boosters for the price of 2 5 figure boosters. It isn't right that 5 figure booster players get more figures for building options. As is the 8 single fig boosters seems really undesirable.

No one really uses the single figure option, but I'll see what I can do.

I cant play Sunday sadly.....family picture day.....

Updated all events through the beginning of May which is the AvX 'Aftermath' event. A gigantic Battle Royale played on 4 AvX Utopia maps pieced together to form the entire island!

This event is where you can pick up the opposing faction's team base.

I also clarified map selection for Month 4.

Sealed is locked to either side of the Month 4 map (as usual).

Constructed is limited to any AvX map. There should be 12 total to choose from.

Month 3.5 will be a completely constructed event. No buy-in.
