True, but not all of those stories had sad endings like that one.
Most just involved a fun night or two and some residual creepy feelings.

So anyway, driving home tonight from working at the state park and my water pump died in my Vibe. Lost every bit of coolant and the serpentine belt was chewed all to ####. Could not even make it home. The car is sitting 20 miles away, Quincy had to stay at my parents, and it's all kinda of crazy.

I need some whiskey and a hooker.

Today is WoL month 31, or at least it feels that way.

I finished A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller Jr. last night and am unsure as to how I feel about it.

It is a post apoc book, with the feel of a fantasy novel set across about 1800 years.

It is a good read from the perspective that it was published in 1959, but I am not sure it has aged well.

I want to say that I liked it but am unsure... Will update after I think on it for a bit.

I'll probably read it anyway at some point. It's a classic and all of that.


Also, who else is NOT surprised that the dude in Michigan is driving a Pontiac soccer-mom vehicle?

This weekend I attended an airshow and an Apple festival. So there was that.
