Lady Lurker also works in the insurance industry. She works for a largish independent agency where the agency principal is(was?) in his first year of ownership with a bank loan to purchase the agency from the original owner. Part of the terms of the bank loan stipulate that the previous owner has to stay on for the five years of the transition. There is also another new partner in the mix.

The new owner was well liked, the old owner was not. The Tuesday of Thanksgiving week (the same day I interviewed for my new job) the new owner went in for bypass surgery.

There were an incredible slew of complications post surgery: intestinal necrosis, a liver laceration, fluid issues, a stint failure, etc.

Tomorrow morning, the owners family will take him off life support to die naturally. Lady Lurker has an 8:00AM work meeting where the previous owner will discuss the death of the current owner.

Who knows what will happen to her job because of this. Yeah... and I start my new job Monday.

So there is nothing but uncertainty lately.

I hope he had insurance. Good luck to the "lady" lurker.

I think its neat how winning a World Championship comes with the title of President of Heroclix now a days.
