Now I want to do a game where there is a single neutral survivor that is masoned with every person in the game, but everyone has the same requirement that they cannot report who they are masoned with in thread, and the neutral survivor cannot out the powers or alignment of anyone.

Good question. I don't know the game. Also consider that if Sophia Hawke is the staff-wielder in the write-up, the mafia would have had to know she was here. That's assuming this is a giant frame job on grizzz. Which also means the mafia likely has some pretty buff info-gathering capabilities.

I'm not sure what to make of this. Right now, gut call says trust Truffles and lynch grizzz. I do have a soccer game to ref. Nothing like stepping away for a bit and re-examining with fresh eyes.

Yes, come back with fresh eyes. Rip them out of two different people of differing ages and races, that way you come back with some vastly different perspectives.

It looks spellcaster-esque (staff-wielding, door-shattering) and my role says I'm a Mage. That part describes me.

It also says I'm prone to sarcasm, which very much does not describe the killer in the writeup.

A shapeshifter is the most likely scenario to me.

Well the killer was inhuman, and wiki describes DA2's protagonist as human, so...

JackieO has not said if they began that way; he just claimed mason.

Elsewhere in a tavern, a large man was leading a barsong with some others, until the door exploded inwards, shattering into splinters.

The large man picked up an even larger axe, then, “What’s all this then! A fight! I like that even more than my drinks!”

The staff-wielder looked at the large man with an inhuman glare, “Know this as you die in vain. Your time will come, your species will fall.”

Hard to say, as Hawke is the player avatar so she (probably) could be a staff wielder if Mal wanted her to be. She is a different species.

My gut instinct is "No."

My gut instinct also says that if you (specifically Truffle Shuffle) were scum, you wouldn't make a play that would put you on the chopping block on day 3.

By the way, can anyone tell me what MDK2 stands for? In looking up my character I couldn't find that anywhere. Just MDK2.

The bolded part makes me think a possession or shapeshifter. I can't say for certain that Sophia Hawke didn't kill Nifty, but I will say that the action I attempted last night failed.
