It appears that Niantic has closed the door on spinning Gym Stops as counting as "Visiting a New Place" in Buddy Adventures. THERE is a heart that I'm not getting very often now...

That being said, I now have TWO best buddies. My Shiny Eevee and my Hydreigon! Time to go to work on Axew!

Did they change the Battle heart, too? I did a raid tonight with my buddy and I didn't get the heart. Previously, all you had to do is have him in the lineup - he didn't have to fight.

Has anybody else observed a massive purge of gyms in their area? I commute by train daily, and more than a dozen have gyms vanished since Friday.

Okay, strike this. It's apparently a visual bug that causes gyms to disappear and possibly reappear clustered in a line some distance from where they actually are. Or not reappear at all unless you restart the game. Which is awesome.

Oh yes this bug sucks because if you are moving fast you can see anything but the gyms. I usually have to restart my game to see gyms.

Nice! I did not know Wurmple was a possible shiny. Shinx is such a hard shiny to get. Did you get yours from a raid or an egg hatch?

I tend to avoid 7 km eggs whenever possible. I did manage to get a third Piplup yesterday though.
