Mad Daemon - As said, it's mostly a general beatstick Archfiend. Doesn't require constant payment to keep out, which is nice. Not necessary, but not a bad idea.
Well, I don't really see Mental Sphere Daemon nor Red Daemon's Dragon as "Archfiend" support. Same with Nightmare Daemons. In terms of the theme, to me, it takes more than JUST having the name to really be considered themed support. (Similar to why Guardian Sphinx isn't technically a "Guardian" monster to me and whatnot.) Still, at the very core, they can be used given their liberal Tuner + non-Tuner use and can use the Archfiend support themselves. Still, don't really need them to make the Deck work at all, but they don't take up space in the Main Deck, so it's up to the user.
Don't even need Shadow Tamer at all for it. Just use Mark of Proprietor/"Owner's Seal" or Remove Brainwashing and take all 3 for 3 free 2000/2000 monsters. =P
Imprisoned Queen Daemon is pretty much the point; to be a "better" version of herself really. Still having both copies for 2000+ ATK boosts (with 1 copy each) is still very nice. The main problem is that, unlike Infernalqueen, you can't/shouldn't really use her as a "monster" herself. She'll just keep getting dumped to the Graveyard all the time which may or may not be a good thing (given her 2600 ATK and all too) as Infernalqueen could also use her effect on herself and could be used as an attacker.
And you don't really need Messenger of the Underworld/"Emissary from Pandemonium" either. The only thing that relates it to the Archfiends at all is the dubbed "Pandemonium" name. Otherwise, it really has nothing to do with Archfiends. You're much better off sticking with other Tuner Monsters (at least in an Archfiend Deck) overall.
hey hey cb! glad to be back! good to know some familiar faces are still around XD
HDI: gotta agree with ya on mad arch. and the more i think about it emessary is more and more looking like the new pandemonium watchbear. resonator and mist would be a way better option. but if playtests show that too many non-arches are in the mix the alternative seems to be 3 copies of soldier with natural tune in the mix. but this option is undesirable as well since its more like a 3 card combo compaired to mist+resonator. but then again this combo could easily become a 3 card with roar so maybe it balances out to preference.
as for the synchros, they both are very much archfiend support imo. RDA is for the more agressive player in wich case won't worry about thier own monsters getting destroyed by RDA's effect. and TRA is for the player who is worried about lp. heck its even a mid to late game option for the agressive type who needs to squeeze out some needed lp to keep up the press.
as for your shadow tamer opinion, way cool! i never thought of that. that opens up nightmare to other deck types like lava golemn.
Also Nightmare Daemons + Mark of Proprietor adds some extra Deck Devastation Virus options too, which can really help in today's game.
And in terms of Red Daemon's Dragon and Mental Sphere Daemon. They're really just monsters that just happen to have "Archfiend" in their name really. Quite clear that, despite being easily usable in other ways, at least Mental Sphere Daemon is actually Psychic support. Red Daemon's Dragon just being a big, main character card. Meh, but to each their own.
