So, I did not gather that he said "there will be 8".
He said here are the ones he knows of, and there happen to be 8 of those.
Back to fretting!
Let me quell your fears. There are only the 8 I spoke of. WizKids was very keen on the idea of allowing me to give folks that watched the unboxings that info so they could go search for those figures and have time to prepare for the Legacy cards to drop.

I Promise To Protect Your Children With My Life: Friendly Sidekicks can use Mastermind, but only to choose Jim Hammond regardless of adjacency.
Ugh, can someone explain to me how he doesn't have flight and doesn't have the Avengers Keyword? Does Wizkids even read comics?! This guy can fly and was a member of the West Coast Avengers. It's annoying when they make a character one time in the last 10+ years and botch the powers and Keywords.
Scott, Iceman, love your videos. Loving this set. Happy to see this extension, as you call it, of the Fantastic Four set.
To all, almost all negativity you see from me regarding this, or any set since JLU is the lack of occasion to play the game.
The game has very few regular players where I am. Weekend games compete with family events. Weekday evening games work against players who have to get up in the morning for work. And since last March there have been no organized games at all.
I have a case of unplayed JLU. I cannot justify spending more on this game until playing starts up again and I get a chance to play them. At the same time, design changes, power creep, and rules changes like those in the Wonder Woman set concern me. Will any of my pieces from DC Rebirth and JLU be play worthy after events start again?
The set I want most is a DC set with 2x2 colossal bases and sculpts to field with my Avengers Infinity Hulk and X-Men Animated Juggernaut. My big disappointment is that the upcoming Wonder Woman set is not that which means I will have to wait another year for that.
Most Wanted:DC Super Friends - El Dorado, Rima.
Finish the classic Legion of Super-Heroes - Light(ning) Lass, Ferro Lad, Chemical King, Quizlet.
Love the original Human Torch. He is the First Marvel character ever! And he was great on Byrne run on Avengers West coast and of course he was awesome on Marvels by Alex Ross
Just rewatched the video. Flying in the cover image on the back. No flying on the card or dial.
Thanks, WizKids. :-(
Errata please?
Double bugger
Those were two reveals that I was looking forward to the most
Happy that they didn’t go too crazy on the Legacy cards. I wouldn’t mind Xavin or Morg or even Morgan as the others have multiple versions to choose from.
I feel like the last F4 set was made for you, then. I feel like this set is definitely an extension of that set and really focuses on newer age F4 and FF fans...BUT I do think there are also really interesting versions of some older characters and some “What If..” style stuff for everyone as well. I think it’s a great compliment to FF but see where you are coming from.
You are so right Scott, I loved that set and I had high hopes that this one would be a continuation of the awesomeness! I really want a good Uatu the Watcher, Red Ghost, Puppet Master, Diablo, some heralds of Big G, and some pleasant surprises. I will definitely pick up some of the pieces but I can already see that buying in bulk from this set is not for me.
Thanks for the unboxing videos, I always enjoying watching them and listening to your takes on the characters and stories they are based on.
I love Heroclix, it's my favorite hobby since 2002.
