Man, that Namor was an absolute beast of a figure. And the Dr. Strange R that was in the same set was equally awesome. That you could play them both for 299 was great. I loved the Defenders theme around that timeframe.

Speaking of the old SI set, that was the only original Human Torch in Clix until the past few months in the Empyre set. I played Invaders a ton, and that Human Torch and the AV Toro were kind of negatives for their points, but in a game when I could play the whole Invaders, I would bite the bullet and play them anyway. Finally, years after the Nick Fury set first gave us Whizzer and Ms America, there is a good Human Torch.

Learning to play the drums is so interesting. Depending on the song/recording it can be quite difficult to hear the actual drum parts. Then when I go on to youtube to see a drumming video of the song it's not what I thought it would be, or the person is just showing off and it is definitely not on the recorded version.

Phant, I found similar situations with the bass. I'm not really good at playing by ear, especially when I can't hear the bass line. Looking on YouTube in the early years I found a lot of people who just played it wrong, or were playing their own version of the song.

I am very sure that years ago I heard stories from Vlad about having to deal with Furries and cleaning up after them at his work.

When I think of the Invaders, I think of the tv show that used to come on after Svengoolie as part of MeTV's Sci-fi Saturday Night. That Human Torch is fire for 45 points and a beautiful sculpt to boot. Not really digging the "Recruiter" mechanic that debuted recently, but I love the "Follow-Up mechanic! Free attacks got to love them.

I now know what my weekend plans on. Binge watching Daredevil before it leaves Netflix. I have already watched it, but she has not. We are currently in season 2 in the Elektra section. Damn that girl is sexy.

Which one is my friend? What a surprise, the bassist. But I don't think of him as a bassist, because almost all of my dealing with him is as a guitarist. He also plays drums (which was his first instrument).

Just like Chris Cornell, except the bass part. That song was good but it just rubbed me the wrong way. It had this great groove going for it, like something out of sludge or stoner metal but, the sound of the guitar threw me off. I am pretty sure it is a 7-string, and that low B just does nothing for me.
