Well, I have seen this on TV but never thought I would actually see it in real life. I was sitting at the post office today. The person behind me turns to the woman behind her and asks her when she was due. She responded, "I am not pregnant. I am just slouching." I was thinking bull####, You are fat as hell, which was the case. But, I never thought I would see this happen in real life. I have seen it on an episode of scrubs and on a movie once. It was really awkward.
Don just called and told me that there is going to be another Incredible Hulk movie. I got on youtube and there is a trailer. Ed Norton is now Banner, Liv Tyler is Betty Ross. It sounded like the voice of Tommy Lee Jones when it showed Gen. Ross but I am not sure. It did not look too bad but it also did not look that different than the other one. There is an abomination so at least Hulk has someone to fight this time.
And, they did steal the scene from Ultimates when they toss Banner out of the plane from the looks of it. It is coming out in June and I had no idea the movie was being made. Maybe I am slipping.
That depends entirely on my school schedule. If I can I would definitely like to go. But, it is very possible that classes will have started back by that point.
So do we have an all ok from you folks in Atlanta?
I'm fine.
My wife and I had absolutely no idea what was happening, as we barely even got rain where we live in East Atlanta. At 10:15 pm, we got a call from the people who own/run Park Pet Supply (where Melissa used to work). One of the owners said she got a call that the alarm went off and asked if we could meet the police there as they were way out in Alpharetta visiting folks.
We drove into East Atlanta Village (about 2 miles away), and on the way we noticed the power was out. When we got to the store, the back parking lot was littered with trash and downed branches. The cop showed up and told us two tornadoes touched down so he had a bunch more alarms and what not to check into so he took off. The owners showed up and we got into the store and there was water pouring down from the ceiling in 10 or so spots. We helped them move stuff so it didn't get damaged (or any more damaged) and push as much water out with brooms and mops as possible. The whole back quarter of the shop was completely swamped. Melissa talked to them yesterday and they lost about $600 in dog food and other items.
But we're fine. No damage to the house and we didn't even lose power.
