I can't believe the Saints kicker didn't win the MVP award though. He's who kept them in it with his three field goals over 40 yards, until the Saints offense could start putting it together.

He kept the Saints close, and in the game long enough for the Saints to start outplaying the Colts. I bet it would have turned out much different had he not been making those field goals.

If he had missed the second one right before the half, I would have won a bunch of money in a block pool.

Instead I won a bit of money in the office block pool.

Still a good day (unless you're a Colt's fan - sorry Dad).

And then Mardi Gras the next week. Good lord, that's a 24 hr party for just under 10 days.

And I don't think anybody will get fired for it.

I still haven't been asleep. Absolutely unbelievable. Three of my professors sent out emails saying that we aren't having class for the next two days.

Most drunk people I've ever seen on one street, and I go to Mardi Gras every year. I mean I drank a lot, but my intestines weren't spewing out of my mouth and onto the concrete like some drugged, middle-aged men that have been waiting 44 years for this.

It's a great feeling. As soon as the clock hit zero, my friend and I ran outside onto Canal street and bolted down the middle of the road screaming for half a mile.

I can only imagine what Mardi Gras is going to be like. Oh man, I'll be lucky if I come out of it without staph or not in a casket.

Take it easy down there. They don't give relief for sports-related damages!
