I dropped it on my brother Saturday, while trying not to listen to his 'Woe is me story about his job and divorce' during the family gathering for the kid Easter Egg Hunt.

Did you guys read any of the April Fools' Day threads over the past few days? Ignatz' Batman one was pretty funny. The other 2 - the common primer for Fear Itself and the Venom LE- were full blown serious sounding article, and the work put into the Fear Itself commons article was freakin' amazing. Between the mods(?) and the work on the dials, somebody did a lot of work!

The Venom one was just plain annoying. It was posted 2 days before April Fool's Day, so I am one of many who found that to be just obnoxious. Next year do the April Fool shenanigans start on March 29th? maybe earlier?

Kinda hoping for something grand again, like My Little Pony. They escape me now, but what were some of the other April 1 themes on here?

After a small debacle on my part in the 20 questions thread, I went and bought the Grendel Collection Vol 1 - Hunter Rose. I have great memories of the book from the 80's, I was a teen and had not grown into my Self yet, but I remember really enjoying it.

Sadly that is not the case now. I read most of the book and returned it, completely dissatisfied and could not tell you why exactly.

Anyone else have any fond memories of something from ages ago that is not as good now.

Another example is The Odyssey, loved it in HS and hated it when I re-read it a couple years back.

Yeah, I am actually planning on snapping in to a Slim Jim at lunch.

Just got back from the dentist. Then went straight to work. Work's radio played Keisha, then Avril Lavrigne, then Pink. I can't tell if the work radio is worse than going to the dentist.

I would give Avril Lavrigne a slim jim.

Pink has too many tattoos for me.

I took some antibiotics from just thinking about Kesha.
