Pretty much my thought as well. I'm trying to get into this set on a budget, so haven't ordered the starter, and I'm splitting a GF with my judge (he gets to generics, I get the rest).

If it wasn't for the chance to get a Hulkbuster, I'd probably just buy a couple singles though (Hulk, Cap, Hawkeye). I mean, all the dials seem pretty good, but I'm more a comic Avengers fan than a movie Avengers fan.

In two years time when everything you've bought in this game gets trumped by over the top commons and you start to second guess why you got involved in this game in the first place, let's go have a beer together and laugh about it.

Wanda is Hobby specific, Quicksilver is (likely) target specific.

Even in America I have to drive 100 miles to get to the closest Target and even then they usually don't have the heroclix pieces there.

I'd no idea the distribution was so poor in that respect. On that basis why do they feel the need to organise in such a way? Surely one set with 2 chases and 8 (?) rares with access to all would make more sense?...

Target is really big on having exclusive stuff for "Toys" they carry. ToysR'us is the same way for a lot of their product. They probably refuse to carry Heroclix at all unless they can have some of it be exclusive to them.

I still believe in heroes: If Nick Fury is a part of an Avengers theme team and has the lowest point value character on your starting force, he can use Leadership and Outwit. When he uses Leadership, he is considered 300 points.
I recognize the council has made a decision..: When an opponent makes a choice from an Avengers Assemble! trait, you may roll a d6. On a result of (5) or (6), change the effect to the other option.
