I haven't taken IL yet have I? Shame on me, it being my avatar, and all. Very well, I'll take them now.
As for the GLC, it's not optimal, but between the three GLs that are out, one could probably come up with some combination that's close to 300. I don't know if you could win with it, but if you want to leave that one until last, I'll be willing to give it a shot.
Which will leave me the Green Lanterns. Okay we're done the picking of teams. So now I put mine in a random order and you pick a number between 1 and 10 to decide which team will play first, right? I'm ready. So pick a number.
If you have your teams randomized when you reply, I'll pick then. Or just roll a 10-sided die on the die server to pick one for me. That may be faster. I'm good either way.
Just thinking though. Green Lantern Corps can't make the 4 character 300 point rule even WITH adding a generic. Is there another idea? Maybe we should drop this one and another of mine (Mystics maybe).
If you want to drop the GLC, we can, I guess. I really don't mind running them though. They may not have 4 "named" characters, but the ones that they do have can easily make a 300 point team, unlike say Police Dept., where even if you used Gordon, Sgt. Rock and Mr. Bones you're still short by about 150 points.
I say keep 'em, unless you're really strongly opposed to it.
I don't really have an issue with this but it does go against the plan which was 4 characters from a team; 300 points. GL Corps would have to be altered a lot to make it: Rookie 1st GL, Rookie Hal (woh isn't part of the GL 'team';, Kilowog and maybe Thug. Not ideal but I'm ok if you want it.
I wasn't really thinking on a 4 character requirement per team. Heck given that, I've got a couple of team that won't work. (Only 1 Superman Ally costs less than 100 points after all). I figured we had leeway within the 300 points to use as many or as few figures as we wanted. (6 50 point characters, 2 150 pointers, whatever, so long as it adds up to 300.)
Limit it to no more than 4 figures, you mean? I don't know if that's necessary. I think some of the teams still have few enough members that getting a decent 300 point team will be challenging enough without limiting choices to no more than 4 figures or exactly 4 figures or anything like that.
The teams like GLC that will be forced to play fewer than 4 figures will be at a slight disadvantage in the number of actions they'll be able to take, but the figures that they have will be powerhouses, so hopefully it should balance out.
