Me too. Give me a boatload of Golden Age goodness, layered with some Silver, Bronze, and Modern Age. Definitely highlights in sculpt and character selection of the rich history of the DCU.

Yeah, I'm really not liking this trend from NECA.

We got a little of it from Wizkids (Human Defense Force anyone?) but to have it take up 1/6th of the set list is way too much.

I'm sure much of it is DC driven, but I think some letter writing might be in order.

well, yes. 10 White Latners is a lot. I could not care less about them But I think some people like it so, I'm happy for them and I will trade them for the figs I really want, so is a win win for me. Just happy for the Wonder Twins and that Eagle in Superman that I'm so using it for Jayna Wonder Twins with the bucket and Gleek.

I actually really LIKE a tie-in to a major current comic event.

Having said that, 10 White Lanterns is probably too much. I think a dozen lanterns of various types (including a Golden Age Alan Scott, Silver Age Kilowog, John Stewart, and Star Sapphire, and a few Skittles for the current decade) would have fit the theme perfectly and tied in rather well to Blackest Night and Brightest Day. Oh well. It still looks like a much better set than BatB was. And the Brightest Day pack could easily be seen as expanding the set to 67 figures. I'm excited!

Yeah I get the White Lanterns but not sure what was so bad about having only a Genric/Le for the HDF after all that is what most genrics get

I'm as certain as anyone who makes guesses could be that editorial fiat is all over this one. I mean, Jim Lee did the booster art. For all intents and purposes, it doesn't go any higher than him...just laterally moves around. If he did the art, he knew what the art was for. If he knew what the art was for, he had a conversation with at least Didio and Johns about it. If they had a conversation about it, they certainly have the power of direct input. It just follows.

Anyway, to all the 'Skittle Lantern' haters, the White Lanterns don't have the numbers of the other Corps. If there are 10 of them, then that means that's pretty much all of them done in one fell swoop. You don't have to worry about any more of them besides possibly(...and i say this because i haven't counted them) one or two that got left out and may never even see the light of day.

So at least there's that, huh?
