So I've been following this thread as best as possible since it started.... and have seen some discussion, but not much on this...

But what do you all think is up with the Goblin on the box art? If you go to heroclix.com and click on the picture, you can get a very large picture of the ad and see it close up. It's definitely a Goblin, but the color scheme is definitely black and VERY dull-purple-to-the-point-of-grey.

I haven't been keeping up with post-Civil War Spidey comics, but some searching around and maybe that is The Grey Goblin?

At first I thought maybe it was Green Goblin as seen in pre-Secret Invasion Thunderbolts... but he has his regular costume on in that when I went and checked my TPB.

I saw someone on here speculating that maybe it's an artistic choice.... which I agree could be, but... an artistic choice in coloring on the box art?

So is this a different Goblin, or a version of Green Goblin that isn't the SR we have seen?

Ideas?

The Goblin wore that costume circa 2004, as shown on this cover:

The art is by Terry Dodson, who also appears to be the artist on the boosters.

The one on the box art is the Marvel Knights Spider-Man version that the Dodsons did (which it looks like the Dodsons did the box art here, too it seems).

Can't tell from the picture if Iron Patriot is a Super Rare. I really hope they don't make all the best pieces hard to get.

I'm gone for one day and we get a poster of Web of Spider-man? Pssh! Making me want to lurk on realms everyday now just incase more big news pops up :P

All the preview figures look great! So unless the poster is misleading, do we have an AE that can turn into one of two figures? Awesome!
